SA Forest Adventures

We can boast with a slide that is approximately 250m long. The 7 different slides on the Piekenierskloof Lodge in Citrusdal will take you down the valley with the spectacular Cederberg Mountains in the background. You will slide over the indigenous fynbos and maybe see the Cape Sugarbird and Orange Breasted Sunbird. The target shooting and archery will make you feel like Robin Hood.

The Baths

We spent the weekend in the Olsen Chalet ...We are usually disappointed to leave a resort but excited to come back home...this time we simply did not want to leave...we've been to a few hot spring resorts but I must say that The Baths is by far the best...despite it being filled to near-capacity, it was peaceful and "rustig"...it's a long drive from Cape Town but well worth the effort...we did not have a television in our chalet but did not miss it at all...we were warned about spiders and to our dismay found a baby baboon spider attached to one of the curtains and upon calling the security, we were speedily assisted by the gentleman with no effort at all. We will definitely be back for a longer vacation to explore the trails and rock pools. It would be great if there was a bigger grassy patch for games of soccer etc...for the little ones but otherwise the activities are sufficient.
