This restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. The owner, Chef Vacca, seems to be quite well known. We were told that he has this restaurant in Toronto also. There are pictures all over the walls of him with various famous people including the great Sophia Loren who have eaten at his restaurants. The place has the feeling of a wine cellar and it's right on the Niagara River. Our server was fantastic...friendly and very accommodating. Now for the food: All the food is homemade there in the restaurant. They have an excellent and extensive wine list. The veal marsala absolutely melted in my mouth. I didn't want it to be gone. The Gloria salad was unique and tasty. The food was brought to us with beautiful presentations. My husband loved his pasta too. The creme de la creme was the sinful and large piece of chocolate cake that we ordered. It was rich, creamy and moist and no other cake will ever compare. The prices were a bit steep but they were no worse then any other first rate restaurant. My first visit to Aneta's nothing special pizza 20 wings and a salad $48 (PRICEY). Ordered pizza with Ham, olives,mushrooms and anchovies and there were only about three slices which actually had anchovies( My guess is that this ingredient is expensive ) . Pizza was thin enough but soggy... I owned a Pizza shop for many years and would never put out a product like this. Wings were over cooked and on the small size for what you are paying ..Looks like a bunch of student working behind counter Will not order again, lots of other pizza shops around

Stopped in for some centre cut chops - Cooked to perfection over the coals. . Also picked up some sausages and lovely heirloom tomatoes. Nice clean store and they keep adding more fabulous items weekly. I haven't tried but am told the house made lasagna is very good and does not stay on the shelves very long. Happy addition to our little town.

We ordered the two large pizza's and wings for 10 people gathering at our cottage. It was excellent, the wing's were fantastic. The pizza was very fresh and everyone was impressed. I highly recommend Bella's, we are definitely going to order again very soon.

Finally a restaurant thatâs not bar food. Itâs been very busy since it opened, I recommend making reservations. I dined with a party of six, we ordered garlic bread & shrimp cargo for appetizers. The garlic bread was nothing special however I would recommend the shrimp cargo. Main entrees were Chicken Marsala, Beef Tenderloin & Low Carb Chicken. The highlight of the chicken and beef entrees was the potato cakes, the entrees went from good to great after tasting the potato cake. The low carb chicken was good but the zucchini noodles were soft and watery. Prices were fair. Overall it was a good dining experience, not great but good and I will give it another try.

The assorted meat focaccia sandwiches are amazing, it's one of those things you eat once and will crave it for the rest of your life. The bread is baked in-house and they put just the right amount of toppings on it. Get it with the oil on it and you won't regret. I keep meaning to try their pizza but just can't get past these sammies. Yum!! Anytime I have a party I order half or full try. You can't go wrong for the money. Delicious, LOVE LOVE LOVE, can't get enough

Many people recommend this pizzeria because they remember it from their youth. I tried it and while many may like it I found it too heavy. The crust was thick and chewy. I could not cut it with a fork. The cheese was solidified and it was not hot. The mushrooms look like they came from a can.The pizza comes with cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms. It was a budget meal for $10.99 + tax. I understand that delivery is $3.00. I have been trying different pizza restaurants in town trying to find a favourite. So far...no luck but we will keep trying.

We have frequented this restaurant several times in the past few years, since we have seasonal accommodations near Ridgeway. Our first impressions were good, and we have recommended this restaurant to several of our friends..A couple of times, we were disappointed with the service, or quality of food, but everyone has a bad day, but our last bad experience is our final one..We love their mussels Napoleon, and always order them when we arrive.. We were disappointed that they were " out" of them when arrived, but ordered the calamari instead..The restaurant was busy, and we waited over 20 minutes for our appetizer. That is not a big issue, but while we were eating our appetizer, our main meal was served.. We didn't receive our salads yet or our bread..When the server came to check on us, and SAW we were still eating our apps, we told her that we didn't get our salads or bread.. She came back with a cold stale sub bun with garlic butter on it, and our salads with the house dressing, which was a thick dressing, not the usual house dressing..What happened to the fresh baked bread loaf, and the house dressing??Needless to say our meals were stone cold by the time we started to eat them. We asked for takeout containers to reheat food at home. The kicker is that this is not the first time this has happened to us, but it will be the last..
