Central placed in opposite of railway station, near shopping mall and near to airport Dortmund (6,5 km) and to different highways. Restaurant, Bar, Coference facilities, Banquett, wireless lan in all rooms, lobby and restaurant. Parking garage (Euro 6,-/night).
Saving Grace During Peak Corona
Reviewed By Bodhe SStayed here for 5 weeks May/June 2021 during a business trip. Everything except grocery stores were corona closed. The trip would have been absolutely miserable had it not been for this hotel and the staff. Their restaurant was open for guests and had amazing food. We felt like we had a personal 5 star chef every night. Not only was the food great but the staff as well. Most spoke good English with a few speaking perfect English. Of special note were the maitre d, I don't remember his name, and a waiter named Marie. Both provided great service but also great conversation, and recommendations/guidance during our stay. The chef asked us what we'd like to see on the menu and added our suggestions each week. Front desk staff were also friendly and helpful. Room was large by American standards and had AC - slept great every night. Don't need to say more. Location is great. If shops and restaurants are open there is a plethora of both right out the door. Many walking/running trails also right out the front door.

Reviewed By joolianIt’s been 5 or 6th time we stayed here on the way from UK to PL or back. Enormous room (recently renovated), more than enough for 2 adults with 3 kids. Hotel is located on the farm so IDEAL for kids to have a morning stroll knowing they’re safe and away from any car traffic. Very decent breakfast and amazing hosts! We can only judge it based on family (5 people) trips and based on that this hotel is genuinely one of the best places we stayed in and and can recommend to other families.

This family-run hotel is housed in a beautiful Art Nouveau building in the center of Unna, just a few steps from the medieval Market Square. Hotel Nachtwächter offers free Wi-Fi and a refurbished design décor. Built in 1904, the hotel's historic façade offers rooms with solid, dark furnishings and wooden floors. Room facilities include cable TV, a desk and a bright bathroom. A rich breakfast buffet is available every morning from 07:00 to 10:00 in the classically decorated restaurant. Hotel Nachtwächter is 10 minutes from the A1 and A44 motorways. Dortmund is a 25-minute drive away and Münster is 40 minutes away.

Reviewed By Dimmi DIf you get lucky you have a free parking close to the garbage bin-which for one night was acceptable, we left early to get to the airport-which is only 10 min away by car. Very convenient. If you get lucky you will also have an english speaking personel, or if not perfect english with a little understanding of German language you can be accomodated-We were lucky :) Internet connection was good. There is a smell of cooking meals and sound of dishes from the downstairs restaurant, but with closed windows was ok. No airconditioner, tiny cousy bathroom with lovely shampoo. But believe me the town Unna is one in a milion. With it's commercial street and increadibly well kept buildings in a lovely architectural style. With it's chimney from a non working factory decorated with the numbers of it's high-impressive. I would love to go there again, but will try a different hotel.

Reviewed By tanteurmelWer hier die volle Bewertung gibt ............ Wir sind nach 10 Minuten entsetzt abgereist. Die Bilder im Netz waren Jahre oder Jahrzehnte alt. "Rezeption" und Frühstücksraum haben uns gereicht ("Ausstattung" und Geruch). Gesehen haben wir niemand. Wir waren so geschockt, dass wir nicht mal Bilder gemacht haben. Naiv hatten wir nicht vorher nach Bewertungen gesucht. So buchen wir nicht mehr.
