Its in the middle of the mountain, and the restaurant is right smack in the middle of a rock!!! SOOO COOOL Would definetely come back No wifi in the room but we didnt really care. 15 minute walk to downtown square

Reviewed By lilypereaEncontramos por Booking.com esta cabaña y la verdad es que maravillosa tiene unos acabados muy lindos todo es nuevo y muy limpio es muy tranquilo perfecto para relajarse y desconectarte. La vista al cerro de las monjas es inmejorable. Nosotros nos llevamos cafetera para disfrutar la terraza con frío y un café. Las comidas las realizamos en el centro que está muy cerca. Totalmente recomendable. La atención del dueño muy atento!

Incredible views, beautiful grounds, adequate rooms but terrible service.
Reviewed By GuycheneyWhen we arrived in the hotel, we were amazed by the views and the grounds of the hotel. However, I've never been the recipient of such hostile caretakers. It began with minor things: we were charged 80 pesos more than our agreed upon rate (we had paid the 400 half before arrival), we were told the checkout was at 12:00, then 12:30 (though it was clearly posted above the bed in our room at 1:00). We asked if we could extend that a couple hours because we were running a trail race that would not finish until 1:00. First we were told we would have to pay an extra day, and then we were told we would have to pay a half day. If this is the policy of the hotel, that's fine, but the manner in which we were informed was hostile and aggressive. We came back later that night hoping to find another --more reasonable-- person working the front desk, but unfortunately the same senora was there. We asked again, politely, pointing out that it was only a couple of hours and than out friends staying in other hotels and cabañas had not problem getting an extension. We received a lecture about her extensive experience "en turismo." We requested that she call the owner, which she refused to do in front of us. She walked over to her house and then returned a few minutes later. Same story. In the morning, we exited the room early, and asked if we could keep the car parked there. This was the husband of the senora. He was angry, but said if we paid 50 pesos we could keep it there until 4. Again, his manner was aggressive and hostile. At 3:30 I went to get the car. There is a hotel across the street (Del Bosque), and they gave a knowing laugh when we told them our story, and we were able to park our car in their lot for free. Chico is an incredibly beautiful town. Sadly, this beautiful hotel --Quinta Esperanza-- is ruined by these angry, hostile caretakers who don't seem to want anyone to stay at their hotel. Such a shame.
