Nice place, overlooking the Mosel
Reviewed By Robby4allA nice place to stay, overlooking the river Mosel. The rooms are renovated and clean. Dinner has two seatings, which forces the staff to work a tight shedule, but they manage and they are nice and polite. The food is okay, too, with acceptable vegetarian options. Two points of attention. For some reason the hotel only has a few outside terrace tables. When we visited the tables were occupied all the time, by people who sit there for hours. And the traffic may keep you awake.

Cancellation due to 'overbooking' 2 days before departure
Reviewed By N9921QKstevenhWe were supposed to be in Hotel Lellmann 28/08 to 30/08 2021. We paid everything for 2 rooms weeks upfront. The Wednesday before we would leave (2 days before!) we got the call that the hotel had 'overbooking', so we weren't allowed to come anymore. Everything else in that neighbourhood was booked, so we had to cancel our trip. We got no solution from Hotel Lellmann as well as no compensation for our loss. We just got our money back, but not even our 'cancel insurance'. We haven't been to the hotel, so I can't say anything about that, but the way they casually treated us makes me sure this hotel's management is not what it should be.

A pleasent stay
Reviewed By JerryQuillI was tired and wore out and desperate to find a place to crash and relax. Finally found a place, The Langen Hotel. The place and my room were nice and clean, although the room was a little small for the room rate of $50 Euros, and I was still a little too far away from the wine country. But it was comfortable and I had a good nights rest. More about the restaurant in that review following this one. Everything seemed new in the lodging area.

Herrlicher Urlaub in einer Top Pension
Reviewed By MeliOttmarWir waren 5 Tage zu Gast in der Pension. Unsere Kinder hatten ein super schönes Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten, direkt neben unserem Zimmer. Wir hatten das Fenster Richtung Mosel, sodass wir die Schiffe, wenn wir auf dem Zimmer waren beobachten konnten. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich eingerichtet. Ein etwas kleines Bad, aber trotzdem perfekt. Die Wirtin hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Frühstück hat sie uns an den Tisch gebracht. Wünsche wurden auch total nett umgesetzt,so bekam mein Mann sein Rührei und ich mein erich gekochtes Ei. Weckle und Brot waren ausreichend vorhanden. Für jeden war etwas dabei. Von normalen Kaiserweckle bis Körnerweckle, bis hin zum Hegezopf, Nusszopf und Rührkuchebstückle konnte man es sich gutgehen lassen. Liebevoll gerichtet war auch die Wurst /Käseplatte. Was vom Frühstück übrig war, durften wir mitnehmen. Perfekt für Ausflüge... Wir haben uns bei Rita und ihrem Mann sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder. Preis/Leistung ist Top. Sehenswert ist die Burg Thurant, die hoch über dem Nachbarort Allen thront. Für Kinder und Erwachsene ein Abenteuer. Freitags wird eine Tagestour angeboten. Abfahrt ist 10:50 Uhr in Löf mit dem Schiff bis Koblenz. Dort hat man dann 2-2,5 Stunden Aufenthaltund kann das echt sehenswerte Deutsche Eck bestaunen. Um 15:30 Uhr ging es dann wieder mit dem Schiff zurück, inklusive 3 Schleusen. .. Ein Erlebnis. Wer die Burg Eltz besuchen möchte, sollte schon früh da sein, da sonst die Wartezeit bis zu 2 Stunden lang sein kann. Vom Parkplatz aus gibt es einen wunderschönen Weg durch den Wald zur Burg. Aber auch ein Shuttlebus fährt euch für 2 € pro Person zur Burg. Stecke ist ca. 1,5 km lang und angenehm zu laufen. Ja nicht die Strecke laufen, die der Bus fährt.... Das bereut ihr schnell, da es sehr starkes Gefälle hat.
