Great for one night
Reviewed By HumboldtSpiritDirectly situated next to the highway, this motel/hotel is perfect if you need not do a stopover. Modern and clean and everything you need included. Breakfast is served at gas station opposite side of the hotel.

Reviewed By piccolina939Der Kurort Bad Rappenau ist von der Autobahn aus schnell zu erreichen. DieHotelgarage gebenüber vom Hotel ist geräumig und gut gesichert. Wir wurden bereits beim Check-in im Hotel aufmerksam und serviceorientiert empfangen. Unser Zimmer war zweckmäßig, aber durchaus ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Zimmerservice agierte zuverlässig täglich während unseres Frühstücks. Das Frühstücksbüffet ließ keinen Wunsch offen. Der Service auch hier sehr freundlich und äußerst aufmerksam. Das Thermalbad Rappsodie ist über einen Bademantelgang mit dem Hotel verbunden. Bademantel und Handtücher für den Besuch der Therme gibts an der Hotelrezeption. Daneben bietet der kleine Kurpark sich für kurze Spaziergänge an. Besonders empfehlenswert eine ausgedehnte Ruhezeit auf den Bänken am Gradierwerk (Gibt es in Bad Rappenau zwar erst seit 2008, kann aber durchaus mit den großen alten Staatsbäder mithalten).

Reviewed By Marek KThis is not Hotel as you now from another place. Is one big mistake. Breakfast: for 3 people one plate with salami (9pcs of salami) for all. Coffee as black dirtty wather. Not all rooms have WC, od shower box can you find in your room on carpit next to wordroube.. See pictures

Hidden gem for sure
Reviewed By stopthewar24It can be tricky to book this place -- they don't seem to have an online reservation system -- but it's worth the (very slight) trouble. I wrote to them via their online contact form and they responded in English and we arranged the booking that way. On the day we needed lodging, most other properties in Bad Rappenau were booked solid so we were lucky to find a room still available here. It's above a restaurant, like many small German hotels. We had dinner there and would strongly recommend it -- very tasty, authentic, and accommodating. Our corner room (we booked the three bed room) was simply gorgeous with sun-filled windows and comfortable beds. It's a short walk from the train station which is how we arrived. Breakfast is included and in the restaurant. It's served rather than buffet style, but this was quick and well-presented, and even as vegetarians, we found plenty to eat. The coffee was standout quality and deserves a special mention. Very pleasant hosts as well. If I'm back in Bad Rappenau, this will definitely be my first choice.

Reviewed By User728Der Mann an der Rezeption ist sehr unfreundlich, unprofessionell und unhöflich und hat uns damit gedroht das er den Besitzer von irgendeinem Club, uns den Eintritt verweigern lässt. Ich hab noch nie in meinem Leben so ein Schwachsinn gehört. Das alles nur weil die Zimmer von uns nicht TipTop hinterlassen wurden, wobei man erwähnen muss das es im Zimmer nicht einmal ein Mülleimer gibt außer im Bad, aber ich denke nicht das der Mülleimer im Bad für Becher, Bierflaschen , eine Chipstüte gedacht ist. Wir haben diese sauber aufgestellt und auf dem Tisch gelassen. Und wurden so Respektlos beschimpft. Ich kann das leider garnicht nachvollziehen, denn die Zimmer wurden nicht ansatzweise so Hinterlassen wie er sich aufgespielt hat. Und auch wenn ist das kein Grund Kunden zu beschimpfen und zu bedrohen. Der Mann hat sich so benommen als hätten wir etwas kaputt gemacht oder vandaliert. Das Hotel war auch sehr schmutzig als wir ankamen, im Bad waren Fremde Haare auf dem Boden und riesen Staubkörner, dreck und die Gläser auf den Tisch waren total dreckig und staubig. Wir fanden auch 4 Spinnen, obwohl unsere Fenster zu waren. Es gibt dort nicht mal Duschgel, dazu kommt die Harte Matratze und das Frühstück das wäre ein Witz ist. Es sind 2 Tische mit bisschen Brötchen und billig fake Nutella dazu kommt eine Kaffee Maschine die den ekligsten Kaffee macht den ich je probiert habe, dann gibt es noch 3 Essiggurken, Tomaten und eklige Eier das war’s auch schon. Das Highlight am ganzen Hotel ist das Wlan und die Lage. Es war auch eine Frau an der Rezeption und diese war stets freundlich und höflich was sehr angenehm war. Ich finde solche Angestellte wie der Mann einer ist sollten zur Rechenschaft gezogen werden, so Respektlos. Wer mit seinen Gästen so umgeht, sollte sich ein anderen Beruf suchen, wenn sie nicht professionell und höflich bleiben können und beleidigend und Respektlos werden. Ich werde hier auch noch eine Beschwerde einreichen denn so ein Verhalten sollte eine Abmahnung bekommen.

Reviewed By jrosenberghThis review is about the Brewery/Restaurant not the Hotel. A trip to the 80s. Old hotel-restaurant in the center of the sanatorium/spa area of the town. We were the first customers of the day and the clientele arriving after us was mirroring the age structure of the staff. 70+. They had 5 beers on tap (Export, Kurpils, Schwärzberg, Raban and Kurweizen) and two Hopfenstopfer beers on bottles (Citra and Incredible). It's a bit weird that the supermarkets in the region have better selection of their Hopfenstopfer beers than they do. Maybe the sanatorium visitors aren't that adventurous and don't drink IPAs. The food was really old school. I wasn't expecting anything else. Friendly service though.
