Comfortable and well located to access parks
Reviewed By CSummerAs other reviewers have stated, Spanish only management but very kind, narrow street leading to the B&B. It’s a 2 story building (looks like a motel with out the parking lot). Twin bedded room had adequate space, power bar to allow multiple charging of devices, TV, shower, lots of end table with drawers and a large shelf convenient for placing stuff since the sink is tiny and there’s no place for your personal items. Also, it’s a tight squeeze on the towel rack for 2 towels. A heater was installed on the wall. No black out curtain s or shades so you may be affected by the light outside on the balcony or when dawn appears. Room noise was limited to doors slamming when people entered/left their rooms but otherwise didn’t hear anything. Note: the owners/or care takers have 2 small dogs, one of whom likes to jump on people’s legs and they bark a bit at night. Beautiful flowers in the garden between the lodging and main house. Breakfast was included but no eggs were offered on the first day but when I enquired of another couple, they said the serving lady asked them how they wanted their eggs. So ask about getting eggs. Great restaurant just 2 small blocks down the road, Putre cafe. Check it out. They hostal only accepts cash.

Camas cómodas, Habitaciones compartidas, Habitaciones privadas, Quincho – BQ, Cocina compartida, Café y te gratis., Sala de estar, Sala de TV Terraza con una hermosa vista a la playa Chinchorro Duchas para después de llegar de la playa Duchas de agua caliente Recepción 24 h wifi consigna de equipaje gratis Varias áreas sociales.
Buena ubicación pero mala experiencia
Reviewed By fernanda-licheaMuy buena disposición de los dueños o los trabajadores de la hostal sin embargo mala experiencia en relación a la habitación (muy calurosa y sin ventilación), muy ruidosa por estar al lado de locales nocturnos y el desayuno era bastante simple. Respecto al aseo tuve que solicitar que lo realizaran pero en general todo estaba relativamente limpio.

Reviewed By Carolina MEn general muy buen servicio. Falta un poco de arreglo en las àreas comunes (jardín). Cama con cobertores muy pesados no te dejan dormir bien. Horario desayuno debe agendarse día previo pero no es puntual y si eres el último no hay suficiente.

A very simple hostel run as a cash-cow
Reviewed By J BHostel Cali is located in the main street of Putre at 3200m. The hostel is what first glance suggests: a homebuilt simple backpackers accommodation. The hostel is owned by a friendly elder couple and they also run a general store shop. The lady-owner knowns that backpackers anyway will arrive and has a focus on CLP $. The entry is next to the shop and in the patio you find the common kitchen with eating table & chairs, and a seating bench. The hostel offers dormitory accommodation, rooms with shared bathroom and rooms with private bathrooms. The hostel serve a modest breakfast. Our room was practically decorated and furnished, with an so-so double bed and a single bed, and a small private bathroom with small washbasin, toilet and shower. The beds have loads of cheap blankets. All was somewhat outworn, but clean. Complimentary slow Wi-Fi Internet and free use of the kitchen. Hostel Cali is an OK place for anyone who seeks a simple not-so-cheap accommodation in a high-mountain tourist location.

Perfect location, great hospitality
Reviewed By Sonja BThe location is just perfect- the beach is just a few minutes by walk, the big vegetable market is nearby and as well the harbour with the big fish market is just a few steps away. There are 3 kitchen in the hostal where you can easily prepare your own dish. The roof terrace is the perfect place for a drink for sunset. Mr.Ross runs his hostal really by heart and gives lots of information about the area, provides a map where you can find all interesting points. You can really feel at home at bis place!

Good hostel
Reviewed By Bruce BI stayed in this hostel for 5 nights. It is located in a fairly quiet neighborhood not far from the main hospital and within walking distance of the town center. Service was friendly and my private en-suite room was clean and adequate. Excellent wifi in room. Reasonable price including a hot breakfast. Socially responsible.

Lamas Hostal It is a hostel, guest house, located in downtown Arica, near to the Arica hospital and business area of the city, one block south of the major street of Arica, 21 Mayo, a pedestrian street. The city is in the border with Peru and Bolivia. Lamas hostal has 22 rooms with private bathroom, cable tv, internet access (wifi). Excellent - very friendly and helpful service
Reviewed By lobeydosserI stayed over new year and couldn't have been made more welcome by Enrique the very friendly owner. The hostal is in a quiet location but within a few minutes walk of the the main drag. Rooms are good value, come with cable tv, wi-fi and I was even able to park my motorbike nice and safely in the entrance hall. Would definitely recommend if your planning a visit to Arica.
