Food was good, if rich (and undercooked, when it came to the lentils) but service was odd.Turned up without a reservation, shown to an unset table, which was to be expected, but which then remained unset for about 10 minutes.Offered water, but had to chase menus - first food then, when we realised, wine menu.Napkins and cutlery arrived 'just in time'. Then an extra round of napkins - presumably because someone noticed none were there, but by the time they arrived with them someone else had beaten them to it. Finished with cheese which was delicious (Chili chutney unbearably hot), but served only with a knife...seriously, a fork is required with cheese because not everyone eats every piece on fruit bread.A lack of flexibility in service seems to be the issue - and it pulls down the rating a good bit. I had delicious fresh food in a relaxed atmosphere the choice of vegan food is remarkable,I had the Mezze mix and the vegan Tajine, they use plenty of parsley and mint,the hommus is way better then usual a real saffron unfortunately I had no space left in my belly for desert but never mind I will be back.It is also very good to have a place where people can't get drunk and obnoxious like in other places.Compliments to the staff, well done keep it up. Don't be discouraged by those who claim they waited too long or judge quality by portion size they could not do what you do even with the help of Alladin's lamp..

Just about one block from the Rhein, this restaurant has a large inside dining area with dark wood tables and padded chairs. They have a large flat screen TV that displays a colorful, tropical ocean sea floor. They also have a large sidewalk seating area set under trees. Ziegelhof offers desserts, daily, weekly and weekend specials. I had the weekday schnitzel with fries special 7.90â¬, which also comes with a side salad and a slice of bread. The tender, huge schnitzel for the price, taste and quality was very good. They also have various beverages on the menu. Most customers did not stay long for their meals, so the tables rotated very fast.There is really nothing spectacular about the business, but everything seems to function well for the most part.

This place is located in a lovely little square, the staff are attentive but slow. The menus were dirty and with fatty marks everywhere so we decided not to eat there but it seemed popular with the locals. No Wi-Fi available but you can get a good beer.

Lovely evening spent here with out son. Amazing steak, fabulous! Friendly staff, good cocktails. Definitely worth visiting but book a table well in advance! Will be back in the spring again to visit our son! Note, you need cash to settle your bill!

I really liked that restaurant. The quality of sushi is really good, so is the selection. There are various creations of sushi even exotic style.Service and staff was friendly and the atmosphere nice and cozy.Prices are okay not expensive, but also not cheap.

Probably the best currywurst at the lake, really thick fries and fresh salad. The sausage is extra long and was specially produced for us. The sauce has made 2-star chef Dirk Hoberg. Regional, cheap & delicious.

The place is small, but the service and food is very good. There are a couple of seats inside in the front window and two stands outside the main entrance for a few to place their food while eating. Since my last visit to Konstanz, they have now added a patio seating area on the side of the building with about eight tables.I had the currywurst with fries combo (6.20â¬) which comes with a choice of mayo or ketchup. For the price it is a great deal and the staff will even bring your food to the table if you dine on the patio. All that being said, the wurst is very good, but I could not rate it in the same category as an original Berlin currywurst.Good food along with nice, efficient and courteous service!
