Absolutely fantastic lunch in a unique (at least for me) setting in the backyard of a house. I think the chef can be a star at some point because the meal we had was very well executed. Had the daily special with salmon. Chicken and beef were also options. Two choices with the salmon: octopus or mixed seafood. Went for the mixed, which was a few each of razor clams (so good), green-lipped mussels, normal mussels, littleneck clams, and a bit of octopus over a roasted, quartered potato with seasoning. Could eat this over and over again. Best backyard service every and the chef is very accessible and visited our table a few times.Speaking a bit of Spanish would be helpful but you will still get by. The location is really in a residential neighborhood but our Uber driver found it on a map. Just look for the red grates and garage next to an empty lot. Getting picked up was a bit more of an adventure but managed to work it out.

This non-assuming place, 5 minutes drive from Multiplaza, offers a nice ambiance, friendly service and most of all: delicious food. Inspired by Peruvian herbs, spices and vegetables, they present an original menu of dishes, with the emphasis on fish and seafood, but also some great meat dishes. Highly recommended. We visited this restaurant with a small group tour. It is a place patronized by locals, so you will not see many tourists there. The food was fairly typical Costa Rican fare, but very well prepared and presented. The service was excellent.

I enjoyed a delicious Vietnamese rice noodle salad with sautéed chicken and lots of fresh vegetables and herbs here. The friendly and good-humored server explained all the ingredients to me in detail when I said I have celiac disease and warned me against the mushroom and eggplant add-ins because they are made with soy sauce. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed; I spent a happy evening here dining solo. Donât miss the fresh juices and coffee!
