So many choices in one place, it is hard to pick the right one. I chose one filled up with spicy shredded meat and I was fully satisfied with the flavor and size. It took me a while to get there, though. Ask the counter for advice and they will gladly help.This isn't a cheap place, so make sure it is worth the price.In general terms, I think it is.

Located in the Plaza Cariari. Busy spot for drink & eats! Plenty of atmosphere with an all American feel to it. LOVE the NEON. Lots of food choices. Plenty of friendly servers. Fruits and vegetables from Costa Rica are celebrated in all of their entrees, appetizers and desserts, escalating them to a fine dining experience without the fine dining price. This place should remain number 1!!! The place has unbelievable food and great beer selection (local beers and Belgium/German) and the staff is so amazing!!! And open air seating if you like. They played some Metallica videos for me at my request. What a great find. And a short Uber/taxi ride if you are close to airport.

The menu has a big alert along the bottom warning you of the 27% service charge for the restaurant. Do your math beforehand so you don't end up shocked, even if you did see it coming (raising my hand here).The service was friendly and attentive but the food took my attention here. What our group had to say about it:Veggie causa: Mushrooms, carrots, peppers, and broccoli on the mashed potato heaven. Very good.Pasta with shrimp: Sauce was unique and super creamy. Shrimp cooked well. Tasty.Chicken with ham: Essentially a cordon blue. Cooked well with good ham. Cabbage salad was tasty.Was it worth the 27% service charge? Depends. If you have access to great Peruvian food elsewhere, no. If you don't, yes. But after a review of our receipt we saw they had taken several hundred colones of the prices of our meal, dropping it lower than what we should have paid. Thank you!If you are not on a budget and want a fancy night out with great Peruvian food, this is the ticket.

We visited this restaurant with a small group tour. It is a place patronized by locals, so you will not see many tourists there. The food was fairly typical Costa Rican fare, but very well prepared and presented. The service was excellent.

I visited the restaurant with mum and some dear friends.The restaurant is located inside Grano de Oro's Hotel.The atmosphere of this place is exquisite and absolutely unique in San Jose because the architecture of this hotel, despite is a recent work (modern) evokes the beautiful charm of Victorian architecture. There's a refined work of interior architecture and details which well worth a visit and which will make you feel you into another era.But not just the atmosphere counts, food is wonderful, tasty, refined and prepared with love and care.In the menu you can choose a wide variety of delicious dishes made with local ingredients and french cooking techniques, as well.I strongly encourage people to visit the place. I took a group of 10 here on our last night in Costa Rica. My wife and I had dined here on a previous vacation and loved it. We all ordeered the regional tasting menu with wine. Everyone agreed that it was a wonderful meal and that the atmoshpere and service were exceptional.

The place all ways has a varied and good section of music.Super chill environment and relaxing time and spend the time playing pool ! AWESOMEE !They have a interesting food and beers combination, they have a long list of Artisan and international beer menu that we can pick and taste different flavors.The only uncomfortable thing, the place is always very crowded so you need went early if you want a good spot. And some times the service is clueless with the orders.An other thing, you can't pay with AMEX, just with VISA, Mastercard or cash, and if you go in car, there are a few parking lots near to the place.However is a nice place to take some beer and snacks with your friends!
