Interior was nice. Food was fine. Waitress asked for drinks order; ordered wine, beer and bottled water for kids. No bottled water. Asked for jug of tap water instead and got a tirade about 'die Nederlanders' that order tap water to save money - and this was from the manageress! Got the feeling that they despise the Dutch tourists. Out of solidarity, didn't tell her I was English!

Gutes Hotel mit einer netten Bar. Hier bekommt man nachts noch eine Tolle Gulaschsuppe, oder selbstgemachte Frikadellen. Auch nach zwölf bekommt man noch was leckeres. Hier verkehren auch viele Einheimische. Ãber die Jahre hat man sich halt kennen gelernt. Hier erfährt man den Wilingenklatsch.

Wir waren mit Freunden eine Woche in Willingen.Vor und nach dem 30 Mai 2019, das ist der Feiertag Christi Himmelfahrt, im Volksmund, leider auch Vatertag gennant.Die Gaststätte unterhalb vom Ettelsberg, direkt an der Seilbahn gelegen, hat dem markanten, zutreffenden Namen " SeilBar "Diese Gaststätte haben wir zu zwei unterschiedlichen Zeiten besucht, jedesmal war es anders, von der Atmosphäre her immer prima, .Vor dem Feiertag ruhig und gemütlich, am Feiertag ging hier die Post ab, wie man das so trefflich daher sagt.So viele, überwiegend junge Menschen, alle Lustig mit guter Laune, das war im und um das Restaurant " SeilBar " ein buntes bewegliches Treiben.Für beide Zeiten, Ruhe und Trubel können wir diese Gaststätte bestens weiter empfehlen.Am Eingang zur SeilBar steht geschrieben.Essen-Trinken-Gute Laune....Genau das können wir für diese Gaststätte bestätigen.

We(me and my wife) wanted to try this restaurant because it looked luxurious.We did not notice anything special(well the foods was late, but that's to be expected sometime) until we had to leave. Although we left approximately 8% tip, the waitress(she was not overloaded for sure, since the restaurant was 75% empty) told us that our coats were in a closet(across the room and not by the exit, btw), so we had top traverse the restaurant to take your own coats. I think that was the most rude waitress we ever met so far.

We checked what places would offer some good lunch in the area and this restaurant attracted us. Good choice. The place is clean and romantic. The lunch we enjoyed was good. We ordered a vegan meal however the potatoes were definitely baked with butter. So if you're vegan you might want to make sure they thoroughly follow the plant based rule :) Other than that; recommended!Liebe HolyFire7,besten Dank, dass Sie Ihr Diner bewertet haben. It is a quit peaceful place, really good for friends and families. The nature is really beautiful. The service was great and quick. Foods are really tasty at this restaurant. I can offer to everybody, who want to eat a good in a silent beautiful environment.

Never thought I would say this, but after "eating" in this restaurant I longed for the buffet in our all-inclusive hotel. First of all, I have to say that this restaurant looks absolutely amazing and gives a very traditional, warm and typical feeling (while being built only 14 years ago). Also, after entering and seeing the "Recommended by Michelin" I went in with high expectations together with my family.As a group of 18 persons we had some requests concerning food even though it was a fixed menu: Two persons do not eat meat - These two received an appalling amount of Sweet potato and Carrot puree as a substitute, nothing more. And second, our children could choose between Schnitzel with fries or Spaghetti - The kids aged between 4 - 12 years old received incredibly small portions and were still hungry. We decided to order additional orders, but after 15 minutes we were told it would take another 20 minutes to have this ready. We cancelled.Finally, as part of the main dish two of our guests found bugs in their cauliflower and after the fact we informed this to the sommelier he actually went to "discuss" that this was impossible because the vegetables were frozen (REMEMBER RECOMMENDED BY MICHELIN)!! However, after taking the plates to the kitchen he could see that actually there were bugs in it.In the end nobody was satisfied, they tries to solve the situation with free coffee, a free bottle of wine and desserts for the kids, but it could not take away our complete disappointment after my father's 75 years birthday dinner.Dear guest,Thank you very much for your rating on Tripadvisor. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and we are very sorry that your dinner at our Gutshof Itterbach was more than disappointing for you. We take your rating and your complaint, especially with regards to the found bugs in the vegetables, very serious. A mistake which can simply not be allowed to happen. Therefore we got in contact with our food supplier and discussed the matter with them. However it is very difficult to find the reasons for this inconvenience you experienced. We and our suppliers make sure that such mistakes will never happen again. We claim the Gutshof Itterbach as a Gourmet restaurant with high standards and expectations in service, food and kitchen with continuous improvement. After consultation with our service team they really tried to solve the situation but we understand that it was too late to resolve the situation completely. The sight of a bar/restaurant inside an old church building was enough to draw us in off the main street. The inside also retains the original church design (in the main part â there is also a nice modern section too) with pews and other such items used well. This novelty is helped by the generally good atmosphere inside â it was nicely busy, but never noisy. The food was mostly good â the more traditional German dishes being the better ones. Worth noting that although this shares a name with the Italian place up the hill, this one is not an Italian restaurant; also worth saying that, like many places, there is no English menu.It does appear like a bit of a novelty of a place, and while this is part of the appeal, there is plenty in the atmosphere, service and food to recommend.
