Rather intimidating amount of staff meet you, but they were very friendly and helpful. Meat and fish is charged per kilo, slightly confusing menu, which needed explaining. Exceptionally good steak on a hot slate, papaer thin veal wrapped around pine nuts, raisins and cheese delicious. We returned here twice, great desert, and good seating outside. Very nice wine and beer selection.

By way of a background, I am fortunate to spend two months a year in southern Italy - about 25 km from this small trattoria. By the way, it is not located in Brindisi but rather in a small village called San Donaci ( about 26 km from Brindisi). My wife and I discovered this wonderful restaurant about 4 years ago and it has become one of our favourites. Pepino is the pizza maker and his products wonderful. He is an artist from his tossing the pizza dough in the air ( just below the ceiling) to the final product- one of the best we have ever eaten. In addition to a wide variety of pizzas this little gem of Itay also carries wonderful meat dishes ( try the wild boar) made to perfection. Finally the wines ( house wine in particular) from the San Donoci region is wonderful. The atmosphere is like one imagines old world Italy to be and the prices are very fair. A typical wonderful meal of pizza, meat, wine and dessert comes to roughly 20-25 euros a person! Don't worry if you don't speak Italian you can point to the meat you want ( it is on display) and Pepino's son who is always present speaks a little English. Because this is a family run trattoria everything about it exudes friendliness.The tourists have not discovered this gem yet - it is worth the drive.

Location molto carina, moderna e ben curata; ha posti sia allâinterno che allâesterno ma non essendo tanti consiglio di prenotare. Servizio perfetto, il personale è molto educato, cordiale e professionale.Ottima qualità degli antipasti e lasciatevi consigliare sulle specialità della casa. Molto buona la qualità dei secondi anche se mi sarei aspettato qualcosina in più, in termini di bontà e di preparazione di una paio di angus portati al tavolo. Piccola nota stonata della casa è stato il fatto che ci fosse solo una bottiglia di un vino rosato richiesto, ed essendo un gruppo avrebbero dovuto dircelo prima per poter optare su unâaltra cantina della quale avrebbero potuto avere più scelta. Detto ciò debbo dire che dal menù vi era una discreta scelta dei vini.Il rapporto qualità prezzo è nella media, come dire...giusto. Mi sento di consigliarlo augurandomi che possa crescere sempre in meglio ed auspicando che il personale sia sempre così eccellente.Ad maiora!

We had a very nice meal here. The steaks were well cooked. We also ate risotto and pizza. The service was efficient and quick. We were pleasantly surprised with the price which was very reasonable. We hope to go back.

An amazing restaurant, it exceeded my expectations! I went at Gusto Divino with my mates for a late "aperitivo" yesterday and I left so happy! Professional service throughout the evening, you can barely find that kind of attentiveness in Salento. We've tried the majority of antipasti and a couple of mains and we were amazed by the quality and presentation of the food.Loved the "sfogliatina" dessert!You won't leave the restaurant starving and the prices are more than reasonable.Thank you Signor Maurizio for the enjoyable evening!Thank you so much for the compliments Mrs. Emanuela , when he wants to come back and visit her she is welcome.

We don't speak Italian and the owners here don't speak English but we still had a great meal! The chef took us to the kitchen to show us what we could have rather than us choosing from the menu. We had a mixed antipasti of a variety of yummy things including meatballs, aubergine, arancini etc. then mixed grilled meat - all delicious! The wine was great too and all this for only 40euros for two. It has a family atmosphere - simple and homemade.

We ate at this restaurant at lunch time. It was nice for the owner to open only for us on a Sunday ( booked ahead of time) Food is definitely genuine and home made. Price/Quality has an acceptable ratio. All appetizers were delicious. First dishes were acceptable and second dishes were ok. I suggest appetizers only and eventually add on a second dish is you still have space. Service can improve definitely. Grazie per aver scelto il nostro ristorante e per aver gradito la nostra Cucina Salentina .
