Caliber 3

We did the 2 hour family experience and it was very worthwhile. They do a great job of transmitting the role of counter terrorism in action while at the same time making it a fun and entertaining experience. Highly recommended.

Ein Prat Nature Reserve (Wadi Qelt)

The desert scenery, abundance of water and varied vegetation create this unique oasis – the Ein Prat Nature Reserve. You will also find monasteries and archaeological findings – remnants of human activity in different periods.

Reviewed By bfindysz - Jerusalem District, Israel

On a warm and clear late winter day we drove down to the area above Jericho to explore a bit of the landscape punctuated by rare wild flowers and green fuzz from a long wet season. Stopped first at a fine lookout en route to St. George's monastery that hugs the valley wall in Wadi Kelt. Easy to find: on the left side of the road there is a huge cross at the top of a small hill. Park and walk up the hill. The monastery itself is just a bit further down the asphalt path. Park near a stone gate crowned by a cross, enter and start to descend. It will be worth the effort. Open from 9 till 13 daily.

Our group of 40 took the cable car to the mountain top........the ride was phenominal. Dating back more than 10,000 years, Jericho is the oldest living town in the world, with a population of 27,000, makes it the smallest of the 8 major cities of the westbank. At 250m below Sea level, it is the lowest town on the face of the Earth. The cable car links Tell Jericho to the Mt. of Temptation in less than 5 minutes You will travel over Jericho Oasis and the banana fields Once you get off the cable car, The Monastery is a few minutes walk. Not to be missed!
