Top 7 Night Tours in Busan, South Korea

April 20, 2022 Diedre Savory

Busan is Korea's second largest city.  Tourists often come to this region to hike and to visit the Buddhist Temples located deep within the region's mountains. The Beomeosa Temple, founded in 678 AD, is perhaps one of the most frequented temples in the area and is always packed with worshipers and tourists. For art buffs, Busan offers several museums and historical buildings. If scenery is your thing, try visiting the Dongbaek Island, or bird watch at the Nakdong river estuary.

We had a most excellent day with Steve. He was prompt, attentive and knowledgeable. He answered so many questions and gave us interesting information at each of our stops. We were able to learn more about Korean culture and history (especially in regards to Busan). We travelled with two other lovely tourists and so it was very personal, relaxed and entertaining. Steve took us to a great place for lunch and the tour culminated (thanks to Steve’s great timing) with watching a beautiful sunset over Busan’s harbour. A truly exceptional experience.

My tour was lead by Beth who is so sweet, knowledgeable and personable. I learned so much and had an amazing time. And Beth was so helpful, even taking the time to help me sort out my issue with my train to Seoul. And I am grateful to the company too as accommodations were made for me to be able to go on both the tours I booked with them. 10/10 on all three accounts.

I booked the tour with three friends. There was no one else with us, so we had the comfortable bus to ourselves. The guide Jesse spoke English very well and was very flexible and in a good mood. We talked a lot about everything. We really enjoyed it with him. He also took some nice pictures of us during the tour. I am happy to do a tour with him again. :)
