Reviewed By Coondog99We stayed here while on a a snowmobile trip. The owners are friendly and place is very clean. Rooms are well equipped with good heating and plenty of cable options. Beds were comfortable and it has a continental breakfast plus a fitness area. Plenty of parking with a Tim Hortons right beside and a gas station just down the street. D trail goes right by. Would definitely stay here again .

Reviewed By johncindym2018The night desk staff was pleasant enough and asked for our choice of rooms. I wanted a single queen but got a double queen and was charged as such. Even though he was holding and reading my driver's license he did not offer their seniors discount. There was no coffee in the room and was only available in the lobby from 7 am until 10 am. Oh ya their pillows are crap.

Reviewed By gizbotIf you need a large very clean motel room when travelling through stop at the Northland Motel. The room rate is decent but the owner is fabulous. They have a large parking lot in the front and back if you have a larger vehicle. Very large room and a great location.

Great service for late arrivals

Was greeted promptly by a friendly owner who made a deal for an efficiency unit which was one of the last non-smoking rooms available. Although the motel is in an older part of the city and looks retro from the outside; the room was surprisingly modern and clean. It had obviously been updated and best of all the kitchen area was well equipped with cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, and dishwashing necessities. This was great for me for breakfast as I was travelling by motorcycle and had travelled several hours to avoid bad weather in the area I was going to camp in. I would highly recommend staying here and would return again another time.
