Went for a meal with friends to celebrate Christmas. Lovely place and setting.Plenty of spaces at first but the restaurant filled up quickly.Great prices and the staff are really friendly. We all went for a meal deal which means you can choose from a selection of starters. Any main and to end with a coffee.25 Euro per person.Highly recommend for familyâs with children and big groups.

Every now and then I crave a good aglio e olio and there's no cure but to visit De Ezel. This is a no frills, all chill dinner option that you can't miss out on. Ronny and his team provide tasty pasta for a good price and take pride in their wine selection. A complimentary brusschetta is included but feel free to order more. If you're not ready to go after dinner there's a wide range of board games and more wine to enjoy. For first-time visitors this hidden gem adds to our city's flair, for regulars it's a place to come home to.

We had a wonderful lunch at l'Angelo Rosso. We went for the degustation menu (7course) with paired wines. Absolutely delicious. Very fine, small portions, art on a plate, but still felt very full at the end. All were really good, nicely presented. Wines were also great and they served enough. Staff was very friendly, thoughtful and professional. Also a very nice interior, liked how they renovated it. Will also go back on a sunny day as I think it must be nice to sit in the garden too. Highly recommended.

In de schaduw van het historische gemeentehuis in het hartje van Borgloon ligt dit gezellige Italiaanse no-nonsense restaurantje. Terrasje voor de deur op de markt en een 7-tal tafels binnen. Zeer mooi, stijlvol en uitnodigend ingericht. Zeer lekker gegeten en gedronken met 2 personen voor +/- 50 euro. Zeer correcte prijs voor de geleverde kwaliteit (pizza-apero-wijntje-koffie of digestief). De pizzaâs waren heerlijk met een dunne, krokante korst. Een familiezaak, waar de dames in de open keuken achter het fornuis staan en de patron instaat voor de bediening en graag een praatje slaat met de klanten. Dit smaakte naar meer en wordt zeker een vaste stek!

We visit here on a regular basis and the quality of both the food and wine is always amazing. We of course recommend their lovely pizza but overall everything is made with passion. Donât forget about their wine suggestions there are often lovely discoveries to be made.

It started with our finding a parking spot in the municipal lot. Our query at the cultural office about lunch recommendations led us around the corner to ... De Kapelanij (or rectory), a nice Italian restaurant with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. Very friendly service, squeaky clean restroom. The portions are generous, and the pasta freshly made. Reasonable prices.

zaterdagavond gaan eten . Eerst een prosecco als aperitief genomen maar helaas vragen ze niet welke prosecco je wenst , zijnde een reserva of een rosé . Verder enkel olijven gekregen en geen hapje zoals gewoonlijk .Later op de avond zien we dat andere gasten dat hapje wel krijgen .Wij bestellen ook een fles huiswijn die ze niet laten voorproeven maar gewoon ingieten in tegenstelling tot de andere keren dat we er waren en ook bij andere tafels zien we dat ze de wijn wel laten voorproeven .Dus samengevat : eten was zeer lekker meer de bediening door de gastvrouw was deze keer iets minder , hetgeen we ook gemeld hebben bij het betalen van de rekening.
