Ok For The Money
Reviewed By Karen DIt was not 1st class but for the money spent, cash only, it wasn't bad. Of course the money went into the owner's pocket. Where else would it go? It did smell stale, but our last hotel smelled as well. Our room was comfortable and had a refrigerator. Only the sink was not clean. The breakfast was the same as most German breakfasts, plenty of meats and cheeses, bread, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffee and water. There were 18 guest cars in the parking area and the owner's were kind in directing us to restaurants and a ATM. So many complaints for this place. I can't join in with that group.

Stopping for lunch

After our visit to the Kaiser Wilhelm monument, we had a rather hard time finding a restaurant open for lunch in this area, finally located this place. Simple ambience but clean and friendly but rather slow service, considering that only about 3 tables were occupied. Small menu, we selected the Greek Salad and the Currywurst with fries. Both massive portions, the salad was quite good, the wurst ok, I believe this was the first time I had a curry wurst, so did not really know what to expect. Definitely an allright place for a small meal at lunch time, but cannot comment on the dinner offerings.

The staff were very polite and the hotel very clean and spacious. Our room was very good. The food was excellent (evening meal and breakfast). It is a hotel we would definitely use again.
