Reviewed By stephenj123After being unable to stay in the hotel we had booked because of arriving very late from Australia we were thinking we were going to have to sleep in our car:( Imagine our surprise to find this gem of a hotel by happenstance. Lights on and door open we inquired whether they had room for 4 very tired travellers in their hotel. Welcomed with open arms and shown to a very comfortable apartment for 4 they epitomised the German warmth and efficiency that we love so much❤️. Upon awakening the next morning we enjoyed the most amazing buffet breakfast. Great hotel for an affordable price we highly recommend Hotel am Markt.

Nice stay for a night
Reviewed By ivanas834We liked our stay for one night. The price for the stay is very accurate. It’s great located for a stopover right next to the highway. The old town is also 100 meters only away so you can have dinner also in the town. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will come back and would like to recommend this place.

Camping/ motorhome site
Reviewed By Mark HWe chose this site on our way to Austria as it seemed to be the only one in the area at the time. Due to bad weather and roadworks we arrived later than we had anticipated (4:45pm) but already the site was filling up. After sorting the caravan out, electrics, water etc. I went to book a table in the restaurant (5:45pm) only to be told that they stopped serving at 6:00pm!! We decided not to bother and watched as more and more vans/motorhomes crammed in. The place is reasonably level with plenty of electric hook ups and the facilities were clean (50c for a 3 minute shower) but this is nothing more than an overnight halt. As it is extremely close to the autobahn it is very noisy so ear plugs are a must if you want some sleep. It serves an obvious need for a stopover but is really just a glorified caravan/motorhome parking area. It very much depends upon what you want. It is clean, appears safe and is very convenient for the autobahn but I doubt very much that we would ever return. Cars and caravans remain hitched so that a quick getaway in the morning is possible.

Reviewed By Kino-samaNice, if it weren't for the third bed, uncomfortable and small, less than a square. Small also the bathroom with sink outside, in front of the beds. I wouldn't recommend it if you're 3 or 4, only if you are 2 or 1.

Reviewed By ferideakcasI've been there several time for business. Rooms are very clean, family is so friendly, please test tomaten suppe and local meals. Greding is a smart village. Free wifi, free parking area. Wifi is perfect, when you get account it is valid during three days. The rooms clean every day.

Reviewed By Fidelix_12Die Lage im Zentrum ist optimal. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichhaltig, sogar mit einer Saftpresse für die frischen Orangen. Auch das italienische Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet; das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Parkplätze hinter dem Haus sind ausreichend, die Zimmer sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Sehr gut auch der große Flachbildfernseher gegenüber des Bettes sowie der kleine Kühlschrank. Wlan haben wir nicht genutzt. Eine Seifenablage in der Dusche wäre nicht schlecht. Sonst hat alles gepaßt.

Reviewed By Wim31We stayed here as part of a group on our way back from Kroatië to The Netherlands, The food was not great, thin and tasteless soup, tough meat and a not to bad pudding. Only one very stressed person serving. The room was clean, the bed not to bad and the bathroom came without soap and just 1 towel for two. But after a very early start (3 am) and a long bustrip we could have slept anywhere. The breakfast was very poor, no juice, no egg, just bread, marmelade, cheese and salami.
