Magita Hotel lies in the heart of Tokaj wine district. If you want to stay comfortable in our air conditioned rooms and try the best wine in Hungary in one of the numerous wine cellars in the village, Magita Hotel is the best choice!
Not worth the price
Reviewed By Cruiser547180The rooms are small, but clean. They are ok. The food was terrible. The gulyás soup is disgusting, the BBQ Rrib also, and I have never seen fried, boiled egg before. We were served pancakes with jam as Gundel pancakes. The service is also terrible. The wellness contains two saunas, one of them does not work, and a jacuzzi, which does not work properly.

This friendly, stylish, recently opened guesthouse has 3 rooms each with own bathroom. The guesthouse has kitchenette and a dining-room. It is equipped with a wash-machine, with a washing machine, with TV and with WiFi. Amenities include breakfast, wine-tasting, participating in seasonal works in the winery and vineyard, guided tours, rent-a-bike, rent-a-4x4. English is spoken. Maximum 9 people.

Reviewed By DHMCHMOur trip to Erodbenye was to get information on some of our Old Country ancestors. We echo the rave reviews by other Trip Advisor contributors about Turjan Vendeghaz. The welcome was warm, the room was spacious and modern and the breakfast was absolutely delicious - just what we needed on a cold November day. But the best part was that Ildiko knew we were here to look at documents of our relatives. We originally expected to walk to the church in the rain and painstakingly examine the registry. We were so pleasantly surprised that Ildiko had gone to the trouble of going to the church, locating the book, bringing it back to the apartment and even tagging the names of the relatives we were looking for and explaining how to read the entries in the book! These are terrific hosts (and we also enjoyed Peter's Tokai wine). First rate.

Stylish, pleasant place with helpful hosts
Reviewed By Kati OWe visited Erdőbénye for a weekend getaway and were very happy with our stay at Préselő. We had rooms near the front of the house (some with street facing windows and some overlooking the garden). The rooms were clean, comfortable, and were nicely done without being overthought and pretentious. (Our room combined traditional wooden beams with contemporary touches.) The small garden is also nice. Our host was very helpful and accessible and, as we found out in the course of a tasting and dinner, also well educated and knowledgeable when it came to winemaking and local wine culture. The food provided (both the breakfast included and the optional dinner with the tasting) were good quality, including some home-made components. I would gladly return if I come back to the area.

Pokój dość duży, czysty, porządny materac na łóżku (można było się dobrze wyspać), do tego dwa fotele, telewizor, łazienka (obszerna, czysta). W pokoju brak lodówki (jedna wspólna w pomieszczeniu jadalni/kuchni) nie był to dla mnie żaden problem. Parkowanie samochodu na terenie zamkniętego podwórka. Bardzo smaczne urozmaicone śniadania, do tego możliwość zwiedzenia "winiarni" z omówieniem procesu produkcji wina, także zwiedzenia piwniczki przygotowanej pod degustacje wina. Do tego trafiłem w okresie, gdy winogrona były już dojrzałe. Dzięki temu mogłem skosztować odmiany Furmint. Należy dodać, że każdego gościa czeka degustacja wina własnej produkcji (bardzo smaczne) a chętni mogą skorzystać z jeśli nie mylę się wanny z jacuzzi.

Rustic, with a charm resembling to a hunter's lodge, the 300 years old cellar of the winery runs under the property will blow you mind.
