Hotel Restaurant De Bengel Eersel ligt aan één van de gezelligste pleinen van Nederland. Eersel, de parel van de Kempen is gelegen in een bosrijke omgeving met vele toeristische mogelijkheden. Een fraai historisch marktplein siert Eersel. Men vindt er een groot aantal beschermde monumentale panden, gebouwen en natuurlijk de gezellige terrassen. Mooie fietspaden die allemaal bewegwijzerd zijn, en prachtig uitgezette wandelpaden door bos-, heide- en vennengebied. Het is dan ook begrijpelijk dat het in Eersel zowel voor inwoner als voor de toerist zeer aangenaam vertoeven is. Voor onze hotelgasten bieden wij fietsarrangementen , wandelarrangementen en vergaderarrangementen. Reviewed By AadjeuitKatwijkAfter looking at the prices on Tripadvisor, I decided to check the hotel website. They have a cyclist arrangement 2 nights for €190,-- including two 3-course evening meals. That is only € 8,-- more than 2 separate nights. The meals were average, not fantastic but well worth the money. The single rooms were very small, with a mini bathroom. Quite noisy and no ventilation in the room, the window wouldn't open. Bed was ok, Wifi worked well enough. Very good an friendly staff, the only thing I would suggest: get better and larger paper napkins with the dinner, what they had was dismal.

Our B&B is situated closeby (500 meters) the historic marketplace in the centre of Eersel, the restaurants, terraces and shops. Enjoy the real hospitality of the south of The Netherlands. Pleasant, comfortable and quiet rooms on the ground floor overlooking the beautiful garden. All rooms have own sanitary facilities, own entrance and own terrace. Rooms have coffee/tea facilities, microwave and fridge. Free wifi and free parking. Nearby Eindhoven, Hapert, Bladel, Bergeijk, Tilburg, Veldhoven, Belgium. Lommel, Eindhoven Airport, Congrescentrum Koningshof Veldhoven, E3 strand en de campings Ter Spegelt Eersel, De Paal Bergeijk en De Achterste Hoef Bladel. Only 2 kilometers from exit 30 (Eersel) from motorway A67/F34.
Superb Spot to stay
Reviewed By Roger RWe were delighted to discover this gem. Quiet, intimate garden just outside our room, delicious breakfast each morning, and Celeste could not have been more accommodating. The location is perfect to the town and shops. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting this part of the world.

TerSpegelt Recreation Park is a five-star family campsite in the middle of the Kempen region of Brabant. Holidaypark TerSpegelt is named 'ANWB TopCamping 2017', which makes it one of the leading campsites in Europe. You can stay in your own caravan or tent or rent some unusual accommodation, such as a Lakeview Lodge, Lounge Cabin or Woodland Villa. Or wake up among the reeds in one of the super deluxe Water Lodges. There is an incredible number of things to do for young and old: from a unique covered water and sand playground to being propelled into the air (and the water) from the Blob, and from the tough Pumptrack to no fewer than three recreational pools. You can also discover the beautiful woodland border area from Natuurpoort TerSpegelt (Nature Gateway) where you can stop by at De Keizer for something delicious to eat and drink; it was named the most beautiful restaurant in the Netherlands in 2015! “Everything is perfectly organised at this campsite!” Being a family campsite, TerSpegelt is geared to all target groups and this can be seen in the large diversity of camping and rental possibilities and the many and varied activities and facilities. “A fantastic holiday… our 11 and 13-year-old children were hardly ever in the caravan, there was so much to do,” commented a previous guest. No doubt the children were busy swimming, sliding, climbing, tyre rafting, making things, playing tennis, mini golf or beach volleyball; or possibly they were enjoying the open-air cinema or were busy in the workshop: there is almost no end to the possibilities. Maybe that’s one reason why TerSpegelt has its own mobile app, so you remain informed about the coolest activities and the latest news. Nature Gateway The recreation park is easily reached from the A67 motorway opposite Natuurpoort TerSpegelt: the main starting point for discovering the Kempen region of Brabant: go on some wonderful walking or cycling trips (there is a unique Gnome Trail for children!) or if you prefer something more challenging, jump on a mountain bike or a horse and follow one of the many routes. Lakeside pitch with private facilities on an excellent campsite
Reviewed By whistler71We visited for a short break and opted for a lakeside pitch with private facilities. This pitch is more expensive than others but it was well worth it. The pitch size was huge & there was a decent amount of space between pitches. The private facilities included a washing up area, shower, toilet and sink. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived and there was a small amenity pack with washing up essentials & loo roll. It was fairly quiet when we visited so did not feel like a huge site. There seems to be a lot of facilities available if you wish to use them. We had lunch in one of the restaurants overlooking 2 of the lakes and the food was good. There is a good choice of cycling routes directly outside the entrance and ‘cycling by number’ means you don’t have to worry about getting lost! (What a great idea!) The staff that we encountered seemed helpful & friendly, however service in the Spar supermarket was a little slow. Overall we had a lovely holiday, and we’re very impressed with Ter Spegelt. I would have no hesitation returning to this campsite.

zen and relaxing
Reviewed By Salima Kthis is the most relaxing and zen place ever. Big domain close to nature. The little cute houses give you all you need. Our had even its own sauna! The concept is clever and simple. it works; you feel free and private. But the shared breakfast and kitchen bungalow give you interaction with the other guests. The owners are warm and welcoming and will make you feel at home. The gigantic garden gives peace and tranquility. Lots of possibilities to enjoy the outdoors. Even outdoor wood heaters giving you this camping feeling. Close buy you have gorgeous woods to hike and bike. We brought our mountain bikes and had the most wonderful time on the trails with big bumps. We enjoyed the colorful mushrooms!

You will find it at a very quiet location, however, in walking distance to the center of the village with its nice open air restaurants and cafes. The host is very friendly (and talkative ?), also we enjoyed a the wide breakfast selection. Our room was big and reasonable priced. On the negative side we think that furniture of the room is dated, this especially valid rgd. the mattresses which should be renewed.
