Cozy, Comfortable and Excellent Service
Reviewed By aussiedan2018I would absolutely recommend anyone staying or transiting through Magadan to stay at the Golden House. The rooms are clean, quiet and reasonable quality. The rooms do feel large but bathrooms are a little cosy. The hot water can take some time to come through but once it does there is no issue. The cafe upstairs (3rd floor) has very fine food and due to this, expect a slight wait for each dish. There is a nightclub below the hotel but don't expect any noise pollution from the music or people spilling into the street at closing. It's super quiet. The staff at reception are very accommodating and friendly. A very special mention to Evgenia at reception. She is world class, warm and welcoming and always willing to assist. The best personal service I have ever seen in Russia. After difficult travel with long delays, she was exceptional to deal with, very polite and easy to talk to. Her English ability is outstanding. Thank you for the hospitality

difficult to appreciate
Reviewed By Konstantin CIt's quite difficult to appreciate this hotel. Staff is very friendly, rooms are comfortable, location is not bad with the view to Nagaev's Bay. But you can feel yourself like in desert. Probably, this building capacity isn't balanced with guests volume. Normally I stay alone on the floor this about 20 rooms. Breakfast is fool, but you can't change some dishes. Lunch or diner you need book, because the hotel doesn't have own cooking facilities. Bath kit looks very poor. I think, hotel's owner has good intention, but hasn't practice in a hotel management. He needs engage professional team for change "country" stile of management.

Reviewed By _S1608OOЖила 4 ночи в большом номере с собственной ванной комнатой. Чисто, все необходимое есть. По ночам тихо, днем тоже, других постояльцев видела только пару раз. Никто и ничто не мешало отдыхать. Удобное расположение - рядом остановки общественного транспорта, с маршрутами в порт, где бухта, в центр, можно попросить водителя автобуса из аэропорта остановить напротив, перейти через дорогу и пройти между двух домов и будет отель. Сотрудники приятные и вежливые. В номере был обогреватель - не замерзнешь, даже когда уже не работает отопление. Большой телевизор со спутниковым тв. Чайник, посуда, приборы. Сначала только смущало пестрое и яркое оформление номера и ванной. Но потом я привыкла, это не минус, а скорее местная особенность - в других отелях например в Океане тоже пестрое оформление номеров. Хорошее место за доступную сумму.
