Mountainous and beautiful views
Reviewed By Erena GDuring my stays in Bella Kita Resort, there was a big wasp hidden in the high ceiling of the bathroom. I did not notice it until the last night of my stays past midnight. The room is far too big for a solo traveler. The room has very basic amenities, considered this resort is luxury staged. It is a ripped off staying at this luxury resort with only the shampoo and towels amenities provided. The room has no vanity table or even a writing table. Besides cycling, there are no further activities having the resort located in a remote complex location. You can't go anywhere without pre-arranged taxi that are more expensive charged by the resort. The SPA is poorly managed and the SPA staffs require more training not even knowing what is deep tissue therapy massage is? There is only one restaurant with lovely view but the staff service is ordinary. With such high room rate, you can find a better lovely accommodation elsewhere.

Reviewed By Linda GBeautiful little 6 bungalow resort 5 minutes from Mushroom Beach. Rooms are large and spacious with good AC. Everything was clean and looked new. Would have been even better if it had TV in room. The caretaker was extremely nice. Getting a scooter definitely recommended! Would come back again.

Reviewed By Go309395Absolutely beautiful villas. We were welcomed on arrival with a drink and a smile by friendly staff. The villa was simply beautiful, so new and immaculate, luxurious and bed was super comfortable. A beautiful pool and right on the beach. You listen to the waves crashing at night and relax in the day on the day bed. Simply heaven. You get to see sunrise and sunset sitting on bean bags on the beach. Honestly this place is a best kept secret in Bali. I cannot wait to come back I should have stayed longer! Highly recommend not a negative thing about this hidden beauty. A very, very lovely homestay!
Reviewed By alinehobiWe stayed in Ubud and wanted to have a place, which were closer to the harbour to go to Gili Island. So we decided to go to Pondok Dawa Villa. We called them one day before if they still have place and he had luckily. As we arrived, he were very, very kind to us. The Hotel it's like a huge Villa, where also the staff lives and we felt immediately welcomed. That night we could even watch a movie ( Pirates of Caribean ) :-) the next day we had it very busy sadly , because our driver were already there , so we couldn't take a breakfast with them. The staff were so kind and friendly , really. They gave us even a breakfast-take-away. Thank you very much!! Best wishes

Good but with some flaws
Reviewed By Anna KDissappointed that previous reviews did not mention that the property is not close to any other food or drinks options as there was really no choice of drinks except Bintang and some wine. The accommodation was very nice and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our issue was that there was limited options for three coeliacs in the group. The kitchen staff were friendly but things were very slow waiting for up to 2 hours for an evening meal - we ordered at 5.30 to make sure we ate at 7pm. We also had organised our own driver to take us to Denpasar and when they arrived they were strongly told that they were not welcome at this property by the Man in Black Uniform - who appeared to do little else. We have major issues with not being able to arrange our own transport especially as previously he had organised a ride for us to Klungkung and overcharged us significantly. The property is in a remote location on a great black sand beach and would be a great spot if you just want to crash for a couple of days.
