After a while we realized a mountain is a mountain, a cave is a cave and a beach is a beach. We stopped traveling only for sights. We travel to understand daily LIFE in Southern Myanmar and the Mergui Archipelago.

The daytrip to Mergui Islands was amazing. Stunning Islands, snorkeling and enjoying the nature everywhere. The staff was so nice, always helping with everything they could. They provide a very nice food, water, juices, snorkeling masks and they pick you up in the hotel and bring you back after the tour. As it is a little bit far away is completely worth it and they were always so helpful that they made us a really nice trip.
After that I had the oportunity to join the "Eat with a local" tour too and I was so surprised about how good it was. Food was amazing, in a very local place where you can feel the Burmese vibes. We ate some seafood and it was so great.
I really recommend it as otherwise I would never know about that place, and going there with locals allows you to know better about the country and their culture.

Just returned from an amazing 6 days in Myeik, with trips to the remote Islands of the archipelago organised through Green Neco Travel. The service from Tam and his colleagues was great - very well organised and friendly. Tam has a wealth of information about the archipelago which made him the perfect companion as the world of the archipelago opened up before us. We did 2 x one-day island day trips (Harris Island on Day 1 and Two-Face & Dome Island waterfall on Day 2) on a speedboat organised by Green Neco and this is totally worth the price to have the rare experience of reaching several remote white sand Beaches which you practically have all to yourself. Thank you Tam for your enthusiasm and sincerity during the time that we spent with you and colleagues!

This pagoda is nice, but stands out mostly for a great view of the waterfront, a room with interesting plaques and small Buddha’s with an explanation of all the different hand positions (in Burmese), and murals with the history of Myeik (with English translations).

We were there with the group of local student. The boat trip was about 2 hours. We brought food there and eat there. The beach was very fresh and we found coral at there. We enjoy private beach party at there. Very exiting to visit there. Hope to go next time.

Marine Dolphin tour is a region tour company. I was visit Dome island and smart island with it. It is very nice service. I´ll come back again.
