It seems like the only restaurant with roman font menu, so we did not really had an alternative to eat. But the food tasted really excellent! I tried the stir fried pork with dry chili which was great and my girlfriend tried the sweet and sour chicken, also excellent! We would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The only downside was there were 2 dogs peeing on the floor. Don't think it were there dogs, cause they were constantly scaring them away.

This restaurant is located at the top of Hotel Grand Jade which contains 360 degrees view of Myeik City as if like Sears Towers in Chicago. You can enjoy Myeik's scenery and its sunset and feel the easy breeze flown from the sea. It serves Chinese, Thai and European food and the recommendation is roasted duck for Chinese Food and red curry for Thai Food. One can also enjoy cocktails.

I was there to meet my friends and having dinner. They have chinese food and thai food is very delicious. I recommed you to go evevning time to enjoybthe sunset views from sky dinning bar:)

On our two-week tour of southern Myanmar, two of the best meals we enjoyed were at Shew Yar Su, a seafood restaurant on the waterfront in Myeik (N.B. the location marked on the TripAdvisor map is completely wrong!!). This is a large open-air restaurant, established about ten years ago, which is extremely popular both with local people and any western visitors who make it to Myeik. The menu is extensive, but on both evenings that we ate there, we simply made for the refrigerator and chose from the day's catch of snapper, grouper, butterfish, etc., helped by the friendly owner of the restaurant, and then decided how we would like it to be cooked: barbecued, steamed with lime, etc. The largest fish cost around 11,000 kyats (less than $10). The food was outstanding, especially when accompanied by large bottles of cold strong ABC stout! Thoroughly recommended.

Not a fancy restaurant, very local, very basic ambience. But delicious food (we had Biryani), you will not go away hungry and very inexpensive. And the young boys who waited on us at what seems to be a family run restaurant, were very efficient. We would definitely go back and try other items on the menu (which does have English translations) if we get the chance.

I was gone to last month at there. I want to drink some coffee. So I was chosen at this place. I was sat at the Conner. I was got flesh air and saw the lighting place. I was enjoyed coffee and food with my family. I like coffee. And like better taste. If I was my holiday , i want to go again.

Hi dear customer we are established in febuary 2017.We espically make fresh sea foods in thai and japanese style cusine.The chef is 8 year experience in Japan tokyo.We serve beer and soft drinks .U can feel beautiful scene of myeik strand road at sunset time.Plz come and join with our warmly waitress.

We sat outside in the cheery patio area of this restaurant, located in an old Colonial mansion. Delicious bbq seafood, as well as SE Asian and western dishes. Reasonable prices. Beer, but no other alcohol. Very personable young Waitstaff. We talked with the Burmese owner, an interesting man who speaks good English. A bit of miscommunication over our order, but certainly not the first time that has happened to us in Myanmar. We would definitely go back.
