This is a UNESCO site, and for good reason. The wooden pillars that hold the mosque together are in amazing condition, kept so, in part, by a water collection system that kept the pillars from deteriorating.
The wooden ornaments and carpets are lovely and in wonderful condition, and the mosque's history is well-documented in several languages, including English and German.
Well worth a visit!

This water monument dating back to 13th Century BC is the second most important religious site of Hittites on Anatolian soil. Dedicated to several Hittites god and goddesses, the site has been renovated back in 2011.
The site is very impressive yet there are no explanatory signs in English around, so it's best to visit it with a guide. It's not a popular side in touristic terms, so don't expect any facilities around. When they see tourists coming, women living nearby come with their hand made crafts to sell them.
If you are an archeology fan, I can recommend this place though it's a bit off the beaten path.

KUBAD ABAD SARAYI, Dillere destan sekiz köşeli, yıldız ve haç biçiminde duvar çinileriyle donatılmıştır. Anadolu Selçuklu Sanatı’nın bir örneğidir İnsan tasvirleri hakkında bilgi veren, bu çinilerin çoğunluğunda ağırlıklı olarak "Türk Oturuşu " olarak anılan bağdaş kurup oturmuş Sultan Ve Saraylıların tasvirlerine yer verilmiştir.
Mutlaka görülmesi gereken bir tarih mirasıdır.
