Basingstoke (/ˈbeɪzɪŋstoʊk/ BAY-zing-stohk) is the largest town in the modern county of Hampshire (Southampton and Portsmouth being cities.) It is situated in south central England, and lies across a valley at the source of the River Loddon. It is located 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Southampton, 48 miles (77 km) southwest of London, and 19 miles (31 km) northeast of the county town and former capital Winchester. According to the 2016 population estimate the town had a population of 113,776. It is part of the borough of Basingstoke and Deane and part of the parliamentary constituency of Basingstoke. Basingstoke is often nicknamed "Doughnut City" or "Roundabout City" because of the number of large roundabouts.

A great experience - easy to find in the centre of Basingstoke, with loads of nearby parking in Festival Place shopping centre. We did the 'Dark Deeds and Groceries' room set in 1927. The room was beautifully laid out with lots of period detail. Loads of interesting puzzles to solve and we needed a few hints from out friendly guide Jess to enable us to solve the room with just 13 seconds to spare! We look forward to coming bakc to try another room. Only one small criticism - without giving any spoilers, I found part of the room quite difficult to navigate as I'm getting on a bit and not as agile as I should be ! Luckily my two team mates were not as handicapped so I could leave it to them to do.

compared to both dry slope and indoor snow slopes, Skizone is the best way to hone your skills. i've learnt to both ski and snowboard there. the 3 main advantages that it has are 1) unlike dry/snow slopes where you have to waste time going up and down on the drag lift, at Skizone you get every second of practice time. so half an hour on their equates to many hours on a dry slope. 2) the surface at Skizone has a lot more friction than at the other slopes, so you need a lot more control to do it. so it punishes you if you make a mistake, which means your technique becomes that much better. 3) unlike a dry slope, the gradient and speed of the slope can be altered by the instructor so it can be made to suit all abilities. also the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Took my 15yr old son during half term for a session here. We had a brilliant time. I am not particularly a gamer but I was blown away with the whole experience. Great equipment, fun games and very friendly welcome. We will be back

Myself and three friends took part in the Alice in Wonderland escape room. It was our first time, but the game masters made it incredibly fun with their narrations and excellent customer service before, during and after the activity. We had so much fun, and would highly recommend anyone to come here for a different hang out experience! It would be great if we were given the option to purchase the video of us playing in the room!

I had a great time here trying my first ever indoor skydive. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Can't wait for my next visit. Fly time seems over waay too soon but that's because it's so much fun! It is expensive for the duration of the fly time and be careful of all the extra add ons you can have on the day, as it may cost way more than you think if you have a family. iFly is great fun and addictive.
