A diverse food culture of Asia - wd have a big buffet, mongolian Grill, separate for your Party and a room for kids.
I am usually not a fan of buffets, but I was dragged here by some friends who have bottomless stomachs. First of all, the place is huge. Which therefore, makes for a big buffet with lots of choices. There were ate least three or four double sided food bars containing every kind of Chinese food available. I particularly like the various stir fry as they contained lots of veggies and had great seasoning. The peppered beef is one that stands out. I am not one for dessert, but there was a big dessert selection as well. The price was fair as well, after all it is a buffet and you can eat as much as you want.

I'm not sure it is actually for family, though kids under a certain age eat 1/2 price. It doesn't have the largest selection I've seen in rolls, it was done by piece, but it was good. The food was prompt and if you are cared you get a great deal. Just remember you can have as many rounds as you want, so go slow!!!
We heard about the new opening of this Chinese and Sushi combo restaurant. Done very differently from a normal buffet, for dinner the buffet contains only dessert, salad and pastry dishes. To order the real fanfare, you receive an IPad with searchable dinner choices, 100 different items. You order 10 items per 10 minute round, with each table receiving 10 rounds. You can order less, but not more than 10 items per round. We ordered Japanese, Chinese, Korean, sushi, yakitori, and more. Everything came out piping hot with the exception of the unagi don, which had warm rice and cold eel. Everything that came out fried was perfectly cooked and not too oily. We had one issue mix up: there seems to be a problem between the grilled salmon and teriyaki salmon which appeared to be the same thing. The sushi, which was our original mission, came out delicious prepared and came out with larger than normal portions. The Toro (tuna) was actually lightly fatty, of higher than normal quality and was delicious. We got half a dozen or so different rolls, and with the exception of the ebi maki (covered in mayo) were very well done and any Japanese sushi chef would have been proud. The whole of the restaurant was immaculate and the bathrooms were spotless.Dessert was a wide variety of healthy fresh fruit (I tried to eat my weight in mangos and lychees), pastries, and lots of ice cream.Price is normally 23.90 euro per person for dinner but a special is being run for 18.90 euro. We didnât go for lunch but the prices are significantly lower with an emphasis on Chinese buffet cuisine and limited sushi options.Lots of seating, tons of parking, and located near the Hauptbahnhoff Kaiserslautern.

I'm not a sushi guy but the folks at my table that ordered it really enjoyed it and it was beautifully presented. I started with the salmon tartar and finished with a duck entree. Both were quite good and despite a near full house, everyone was served quickly and professionally. My only compliant, like other European restaurants, is that it's too dark in the dining room. The food is very good but you can barely see it, turn up the lights.

The title sums it all - in the quiet and sleepy town of Kaiserslautern, this restaurang is sort of a gem that gives you good yummy food option. It's pretty standard, americanized (read that this is not germanized) sushi place. The quality of the food is excellent with fresh sashimi and great tasting sushi and sushi roll. The only downside is it's a bit pricey. But hey, in life you get what you pay for!

We, Ichiro and Takako Nakayama, come originally from Osaka (West Japan) which is famous for its tasty cuisine. Our menue offers next to Sushi also Okonomiyaki, which is one of the oldest dishes in Japan and a symbol for Osaka.Typical ingredients in Japane
Very authentic, your not going to find "dragon rolls" or other snake shaped rolls with cream cheese and sauces on top, these are not authentic Japanese sushi. You will find traditional Japanese sushi and other traditional dishes. I found the fish to be very fresh. The Sushi chef knows his craft. He can recommend a Japanese beer or saki to go with your meal. The restaurant is inside the Alcatraz Hotel. Their closed Sunday and Monday. If your a traditional sushi fan, I really think you will like this place. Probably the best sushi restaurant in Kaiserslautern. Oh, they take credit cards.
