It is the third most populous city in Kazakhstan behind Almaty and Astana with an estimated population of 669,326 in 2015. A major railroad junction on the Turkestan-Siberia Railway, the city is also a notable cultural centre, with an international airport. Shymkent is situated 690 kilometres (430 mi) west of Almaty and 120 kilometres (75 mi) to the north of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Dear owners of this restaurantYou restaurant is probably one of the most expensive yet disappointing dinners we've had in Kazakhstan. It is probably a huge challenge to run a western-inspired steak restaurant here. Despite the difficulties, here are some quick wins.- When you have gin on the menu, also serve tonic. The lengths we went through to replace a shot of gin with a glass of gin-Sprite...- Train your staff. No need to let the fridge open or drop bottles on our table.- Ask how your guests want their steak -- the doneness.On a positive note, although the cooking wasn't, the taste of the meat was nice.

First of all, the location of the restaurant is very good. It surrounded with Central Park trees. The selection of wines is one of the best in Shymkent. The design is properly done for wine thematic.
