Congratulations to the Gabriola Lions Club and the Gabriola Golf Club for hosting the annual Concert-on-the-Green. This year's bands, 'The Great Divide' and 'Completely Credence' had us up on our feet and rockin'... . The Divide performed 'The Band' covers, followed by Credence completely Put(ting) a Spell on You / Us. Funds raised through ticket sales, food and drinks, and raffles support a dozen great causes... and this wonderful community event draws fans from all over Vancouver Island. Finally, congrats to the Cool Young Dude who out-danced us all, winning a black-and-gold T-shirt and fame and applause for his upfront entertainment. You really rocked, man...!~

Take the time to walk down to the galleries. It is not far from the parking area and definitely worth the time. Wear good walking shoes as the ground is uneven
