Reka Vrelo (One Year River - Reka Godina)

Reviewed By zlatab2015 - Sydney, Australia

Well this was definitely BIG surprise. It wasn't prepared to visit this shortest river in the Europe because I never heard of this river. It`s accidentally happened and I am so glad it did happens.Well the Vrelo river or RekaGodina is somethings so unique. In half and hour you can see the river from start to the end , the length of the river is 365mts and that is way it`s had second name One Year River. But its magnificent.I went to see the place where river start and I was blessed with the rich river flow which create beautiful waterfalls.I was able to take great pictures. And its slowly flowing through little village to end up going into big river Drina. Unfortunately there isn't any way to see this waterfall when the rivers join except from river Drina. On the end there are nice restaurants seat nicely with the sound of gurgling stream .I cannot express my happiness with this place.

National Park Tara

Reviewed By GoGo2SlowGo - Denton, United States

We saw the park when we were traveling from Belgrade toward the Sargan Eight Railway and other stops on a Viator tour. The Drina River Canyon within the Tara National Park is on the tentative list for a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is sometimes called the “lungs of Serbia.” It’s located in the western edge of Serbia along the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Drina river runs through the park created some very large gorges. However, more than 80% of the park is heavily forested with plenty of hiking trails.

Djerdap National Park

Reviewed By AlbertSalichs - Manresa, Spain

Djerdap National Park (Iron Gates National Park) is located in the Danube Region as a border between Serbia and Romania. We visited the Serbia river bank and it was really wonderful! on road you can see fantastic views of the Danube River and the Romanian zone: we stopped each 5 minutes to take photos. Also, in the Serbian zone, you can see some sightseeing points like Trajan's Bridge, Diana Roman Fort Djerdap Dam or Golubac Fortress in the surroundings of the park. Also, we did a hikking in the park after obtain an authorization in the turist information in Donji Milanovac. The hikking was great and the views and lookout really charming! (we went to Veliki Strbac). One of the best natural places in Serbia. Top in our trip around all country!

Kopaonik National Park

Reviewed By igormijatovic - Belgrade, Serbia

Kopaonik is very nice mountain in winter or in summer. Ski slopes are good and you can easy find any slope you need. Ski centar is "made" by tri mounts: Pancic, Karaman and Gobelja. You can enjoy skiing every day in another slope so it will not be boring. Mountain is very green with a lot of trees, not like Alpes, and it is also my plus for Kopaonik. Every slope have special small cafes or small restaurants (kafana in Serbian language) where you can sit and drink or eat something for a ski break. Kopaonik is special also in summer, without a lot of tourist that is great. You can go for walking, mountbikeing, etc.
