Nicely decorated place with a rustic merry-go-round at the entrance.The food was enjoyable, especially the tortilla soup and the chiles en nogada.The mole looked great and will be my next option when I return.It is a good place to have a conversation except when they celebrate a birthday (it can get real loud, but only for a few minutes).A real winner!

This house, once the residence of Mexican comedy actor Cantiflas boasts a pool with an authentic Diego Rivera on the bottom.We were a group of seven enjoying their outdoor living room over looking the pool with a cathedral view.While we only had appetizers and drinks, the attentive staff took pride in their service and the history behind this incredible venue.This was my second visit and won't be the last.Thank you for your visit, and thank you for sharing your thoughts with other visitors! We are glad you had a great time here. Hope to have you back soon.

I enjoyed this place! Lots of buffet options. Complimentary mint drink and coffee. The salad bar was great - lots of veggies/fruit/nuts/seeds and great dressings. The main course table had 2 soups, 3 veggies and 5-6 Mexican dishes. A dessert table with 4-5 possibilities - rice pudding, flan etc. Service was really good for a buffet. All in all a 5 star experience.

I just had lunch here and had chile en nogada. It was very good, though did not realize they are served at room temperature. They also brought out a little mini loaf of bread that was piping hot and quite nice. On my check there was a tax," impuesto" of almost 15%. My waiter denied that this charge was the tip, so I left him a tip. But this is the first restaurant in Cuernavaca to charge this, and I am very skeptical about it. My host where I am staying just said all restaurants are required to pay this though sometimes it is already included in the prices. Strange as I have been in Mexico for 3 months and have only seen this charge 1-2 other times.

Nice restaurant on the square in Cuernavaca, adjacent to the Cortes palace. Food and service were excellent; I had the vegetarian lasagna, and my friends had the beef fajitas. Both excellent, as well as the first course, a black bean/taco soup.
