I am very stingy with my âstars,â and I donât remember the last place I gave 5. We enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner, the main meal of the holiday. It was served banquet style, but unlike the other high-end spots, the tables were separated so that each group of diners really were attended to very well. Captains and servers paid close attention to what was going on at our table. Likewise the food was excellent. Entrees included a perfectly prepared Beef Wellington, a plate with turkey, vegetables and sweet potatoes, and a couple of vegetarian and vegan options. There was a choice of soup or salad for starters; all in our party enjoyed the soup - a cream made with candied walnuts. Dessert was a somewhat pedestrian cake. We chose a Mexican wine and were quite pleased. With tip the cost worked out to about $65 US per person. Valet parking made arrival and departure easy. The setting is the nicest hotel in Cuernavaca and one of a few small hotel treasures in the country. Anticavilla has definitely edged out Las Mañanitas from the top rating it enjoyed for many years. Nice restaurant on the square in Cuernavaca, adjacent to the Cortes palace. Food and service were excellent; I had the vegetarian lasagna, and my friends had the beef fajitas. Both excellent, as well as the first course, a black bean/taco soup.

We were with a small group on a day trip from Mexico City and both major attractions in Cuernavaca were closed (the Cathedral for repairs and the Palace where Hernan Cortez lived was closed for for who knows why). So what we had left to do after the long trip from DF was lunch and shopping. We chose The House at the Las Casas B & B for lunch and it was fabulous. We were seated outdoors near the swimming pool. We were the only gringos; all the other patrons were Mexican Nationals dressed for business and that's always a good sign for the quality of the food, which proved to be true. Service was excellent and they had a great cocktail menu and a fine wine list. If you want to splurge try the Sunday buffet at this extraordinary setting in a setting dating back to Cortez' time. The Sunday brunch offers inside or outside seating and has a huge range of food including 3 staffed stations that will prepare your eggs, etc., to order. The juices, coffee, cafe de olla, and cocoa de oxaca add to the mix along with a wide range of desserts. The place is a little out but Ubers are dirt cheap and you will not regret visiing this elegant, memorable setting.Hi! how are you? We are happy to say hello. On the way to 100% Natural on Avenida Diana, my taxi driver jokingly asked if everything on the menú there is really "100% natural." To be honest, I didn't know how to answer his question, even though I've eaten there before. All I know is that the "Sensacional" omelette that I had, accompanied by fresh lettuce and tomato, was very tasty. Filled with manchego cheese, spinach and mushrooms and served with a tangy tomato sauce on the side, it was a large omelette that was more than I had expected. The attentive waiter(s) brought pan dulce to the table first, and freshly-brewed café americano. Another bread was served with my order, and I didn't have to ask to have my coffee cup refilled numerous times. The open-air dining room looks out toward the rear onto a beautifully-landscaped jardÃn, offering a pleasant dining atmosphere on a busy street. There's not a lot of parking space available here, but I'll definitely go back to 100% Natural, which is part of a chain that includes several locations in Cuernavaca. Next time, maybe I'll try one of the other locations just for variety's sake.
