We always stop by at Samurai Sushi for lunch when we come to Squamish.I ordered lunch comb and salmon sushi. My son had chicken udon. They were great. If you don't know how to use chopsticks, they made own chopsticks trainer for you to use.
I stopped here for lunch by myself and was pleasantly surprised by the array of fresh choices on the Japanese-inspired menu. The soup was flavourful, the salad super fresh, the service prompt and the portions ample. Overall, I was very impressed and will certainly be back. The place seemed popular as a neighbourhood lunch stop. While on the small side, the space is well designed and feels open and airy, with a great view of the Chief.

popped in for a snack as we were exploring Squamish. I had an avocado roll that was perfect and the husbands spicy tuna was the freshest fish he has had in years. great find we will stop at again for bento boxes next time.Very small place so you would want to order take out if there is a crowd of you.

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The value for money is only exceeded by the freshness of the food and the wonderful portions which is only exceeded by the friendliness and kindness of the people working here. It's my new go-to place in town now, especially for lunch where there are some fantastic deals. I can't recommend this place enough; stop reading this and get yourself a table :)

Ate a fantastic meal here with friends and was really impressed with the menu and service. The highlight was the Smoking Saba, mackerel served inside a glass dome infused with applewood smoke. The sushi is really excellent here, and pricing very reasonable, especially after eating in Whistler. There is a great kids menu with sensible sized portions and a Happy Hour menu. This is a really great find and somewhere I'd definitively come back to when I'm in Squamish.

This is by far the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been. It is worth the drive just for a meal at Sushi Sen. It serves the freshest seafood & the menu has quite a list of varieties to try. It is always pack with customers and it's all about the timing to get in. I always use this test - if not sure what to have, I would order a chirashi don. That would determine how fresh are the varieties of sashimi & the rice. It would determine what will be served as sashimi.
