The oprion of sitting on the top lookoit was met with a veey small menu. This consisted of 3 meat options: bratwurst in bread, steak in bread or leberkase in bread. Jonmeat was a slice of bread with avocado or a salad. All rather quick, snack food that could have just as easily been got at a stand by the river. The only difference was that instead of 10 euro for the 4 of us, it cost 65 euro. The most expensive and slow delivered barbeque snacks on record. Queries as to kther otions of food were met with the comment " well usually ww have more options.."

Kartoffel-Fenchelsuppe mit Räucherlachs, ZIegenkäsetarte mit karamelisiertem Knoblauch, Käsekuchen im Glas - wo findet man so originelle Gerichte zu so moderaten Preisen? Das kleine, schnuckelige Bistro mit dem liebenswerten Service war eine ausgesprochen positive Erfahrung und Ãberraschung. Ich komme wieder!!

This is in a charming tucked away courtyard which is a great place to have a drink. A good selection of food at good prices. I had noodles with beef, pal choi and snow peas (12 euros) in a sesame soy dressing. The beef was overlooked and there was too much soy broth. My friend has the deconstructed vegetarian lasagna made up of grilled vegetable, leaves, pasta and Parmesan chips (12euroa). Overall the wine and atmosphere was better than the food. Nice service and really nice location.

The efficient waiters and waitresses wore white gloves and this took me back in time. Food well presented and of good quality. Not overly expensive for the quality of the restaurant.

Wir waren an einem Werktag morgens hier, und man sollte vorher reservieren oder ganz früh da sein. Die Location ist alternativ eingerichtet, das Personal duzt einen ohne Absprache, was sicherlich daran lag, dass ich 30 Jahre älter als der Besucherdurchschnitt und das Personal war. Die Qualität der Speisen ist gut, der Kaffee auch, die Stühle fand ich unbequem weil tief und eher als Couchsessel zu bezeichnen. Das hat mich gestört. Ich hätte mir noch Joghurt etc. Im Angebot gewünscht. Der Service nett und unkompliziert. Also gut für ein Frühstück, auch beim nächsten mal...

We were invited by our German friends to dinner at this special restaurant Zum Hendel, right in the house of the famous composer George Friedrich Händel, now a beautiful must-see museum.The restaurant doesn't have any visible sign outside in the street because it's sheltered in a cultural heritage building so be sure to look carefully for this place in the inner courtyard of the Händel's House and you won't be disappointed. The food is so delicious and served in a creative way. The wine is super and the staff is so friendly. Highly recommended when in Halle!
