Another trip to Stockholm brings another visit to this tiny restaurant... now with a few more places and change of decor. Still friendly and knowledgeable service, delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. Three years on, the growing reputation means you now absolutely must book.The news is that they have also opened up the cellar ( different entrance with a challenge to find the way in at no 82 round the corner!) Catering for groups or just drinks and bits.... until the next time!

Traditional Swedish restaurant with a home cooking / Mediterranean twist. Located in a somewhat quiet part of Stockholm, outside the traditional tourist areas, but worth the walk if you want to avoid the standard items / experience something local. Good selection of wines, nice service and quiet atmosphere.

If youâre looking to splurge for a fantastic memorable meal in Stockholm, look no further.... Wedholms Fisk will provide you a scrumptious opportunity to enjoy the finest in international dining! Yes, you will need to replenish your wallet before you begin your next day, but you will do so with a complacent smile. The menu is laden with fish cooked in a variety of styles with sauces that the great French chefs would do well to memorize. I had salmon in a champagne sauce that would provide an exemplary illustration of what it means to âreduceâ your sauce. You must try this! And get up early tomorrow to exercise! It will be worth it. My wife enjoyed the most delicately prepared, lightly grilled scallops in a delectable butter sauce. Wonderful! And bring a camera - these entrees should be at the forefront of your Stockholm photo album. The wines by the glass were excellent and numerous; the servers were professional and amiable; the atmosphere was subtle and chic....All in all, Wedholms Fisk is the ultimate in fine dining. Lovely evening with incredible food, attentive but not intrusive service, impeccable wine list and opulent period interior. We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing and we weren't disappointed. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. We were treated with a few bonus courses which were also delicious. This restaurant is worth its Michelin star. We will return!

Fresh off the plane from Los Angeles, Tobbes Kok was my first experience at a Swedish Restaurant. I don't think that this would have been a normal pick for tourists, but Tobbes Kok is located adjacent to the beautiful community where my step-children live with their mother. We all went for a family dinner to celebrate the first night of our trip.This was the only restaurant that we visited in Sweden that did not have the menu translated in English.Intimidating!Not that I expected to find any menus in English, but it was still an intimidating experience.Luckily, my husband's ex-wife, who I had just met, sat next to me and went through all of my options. She was fantastic and steered me towards ordering a goat cheese and beet salad for a starter and a seafood stew for my main. Excellent choices!The kids love the pancakes at Tobbes Kok and even more, the love the adjacent playground. We were seated on the patio, where we could see them playing.This is a great restaurant, especially on a beautiful summer evening. This was a superb evening comprising great food, with many great choices and really friendly service Between us we managed to try half the tapas menu and are resolved to come back and try the other half. We particularly enjoyed the charcuterie and the halloumi fries, but to pick two out is unfair on the rest. The lamb, shrimp dumplings and goats cheese with honey were also excellent. Indeed, across 16 choices we did not find a bad option.For beer we tried the draft beer. Don't. The draft is average, however the 100 watt IPA is an unexpected delight.Service was exceptionally friendly and chatty. We were made to feel very welcome. A great place and highly recommended.
