Easygoing ambience makes for top notch R & R
Reviewed By lynnem535Sitting in a clementine plantation just a short drive from the sea, this agriturismo hits the spot for its wonderfully laid back atmosphere and clean, quality accommodation. Special mention for the delicious and varied buffet style breakfast served by competent and friendly staff (with covid measures firmly in place). Also noteworthy is the large and fantastic swimming pool which we longed for after a day visiting some of Basilicata’s pretty hill-top towns. Lovely, down to earth owners, we’d go back to Agrumare in a heartbeat!

Ottimo se si viaggia con cani perché c'è un bel giardino ben curato e recintato dove possono correre felici. L'appartamento ha uno stile moderno e accogliente e c'è tutto ciò che può servire per la stadia (nel nostro c'era anche del caffè, olio d'oliva, sale e sapone per i piatti! Lo specifico perché per me è stata una sorpresona giacché spesso abbiamo affittato appartamenti con cucine senza niente di niente!). Il letto comodissimoooo!!!! L'hostess e i ragazzi che ci lavorano sono super gentili e cordiali, gli appartamenti puliti e ordinati, situati in posizione strategica per visitare Matera, la costa, Pisticci, i Calanchi e tanto altro di questa meravigliosa terra. Il paese ha tutti i servizi e la gente è molto carina è disponibile. Cosa vuoi di più?!! Noi ci ritorneremo sicuramente! :) Grazieeeee! Saluti da Firenze!

Hidden Gem in Basilicata
Reviewed By Janet SHad a wonderful few days here. It is truly rural, surrounded by orange groves, and the scent of Jasmine. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Food was very good and plentiful (this is Southern Italy!), but you could use one of the resort's bikes to use all those extra calories... or have a swim in the large outdoor pool... or take the free private bus to the private beach for a swim in the sea...or just sit on your sunbed and read (our preferred option). There's plenty to explore in the surrounding countryside - we hired a car and toured the area. Matera is an absolute must and we enjoyed a free guided tour, courtesy of the hotel. Although it was in Italian, we could follow some of it and the guide was able to translate part of it for us (which we didn't expect, but really appreciated). It is rural and you will need insect repellent as a result. The beautiful flowers, Jasmine scent and orange groves more than compensate for a few flies.. Lovely hotel, beautiful setting, good food and great service...

Cordiali e gentili, ma il posto non è bello nè curato.
Reviewed By PresidenterandagioE' un'abitazione comune con arredi vetusti e poco curata. E tutto pulito ma non è un posto bello da vedere nè da starci. Il letto della nostra camera è stato molto molto confortevole e il condizionatore funziona egregiamente come anche il Wi Fi, non è così per la tv e il decoder sky (del tutto scollegato da tv e corrente elettrica) i cornetti della colazione come il pane fresco anche sono molto buoni, le marmellate fatte in casa anche, ma il tutto viene servito con un bel po' di approssimazione, tazze riciclate e tutte diverse tra loro, tovagliolini di carta scottex e niente piattino per poggiare fette o pane da imburrare. Il gestore è molto gentile e premuroso e con un investimento economico serio per rinnovare tutto il mobilio e gli accessori della colazione e una cura maggiore ai dettagli potrebbe far diventare il posto un ottimo punto per visitare le zone di Pisticci e il mare. Così com'è non va bene purtroppo. Il problema vero è che in zona non ci sono moltissimi posti tra cui scegliere e quindi bisogna accontentarsi.
