Nice rooms, good restaurant, wonderful and quiet landscape on the shore of a small lake. I would recommend this property anytime and I would definitely return here on my next holiday in Austria. The food in the restaurant was also amazing, a real piece of Italy in the hart of Austria!

Very rude arrogant owner ruined our holiday
Reviewed By simonrR1704SLBeautiful location with very friendly staff. Unfortunately the owner is incredibly rude and arrogant and has no regard for his guests . Like the previous review, which unfortunately we didn’t read until our return, we booked one superior double with balcony and one two roomed family room with balcony. We were given two standard tiny rooms without balcony upon or arrival. His attitude was take it or leave it, he had no more rooms. We showed him the detailed confirmation he had emailed to us and he just said he had no other rooms, take it or leave it. After some time he found one room which was marginally better but no where near what we had booked and he also came up with an insulting discount after a long conversation. This discount was largely made up of removing the charge he had levied for car parking which they advertise as free !! At no time did he express any regret or offer any apology. As it was Grand Prix weekend all other hotels for miles around were full so we had no choice but to suffer his sub standard rooms. Reading the previous review on this site from last year it is obviously his normal Practice. When we checked out I asked if he thought we should be due an apology to which he replied “ Apology, what is that”. Think long and hard before entrusting your holiday accommodation to this man.

Lovely Location
Reviewed By poppet_61Although a 45 minute drive from the Red Bull Ring the location of this hotel was ideal for our trip to the Austrian Grand Prix . The drive back and forth being easy and very scenic. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings with the opportunity of walking or cycling to explore the area. The hotel was clean and comfortable with breakfast included in the price. Evening meals are available and were always nicely presented, tasty and beautifully cooked. Although the owners spoke very little English (why should they ? We were in their country) we managed to understand them and be understood and were made to feel very welcome.

Great place to stay at a functioning bio farm up in the Alps
Reviewed By VladimirTWe had a fine time staying here for a long weekend stay there. The place was clean and had a water closest and a separate bathroom and two bedrooms upstairs that could sleep five adults comfortably. There was a small kitchen and dining area with a television and a small balcony. The family Sperl were good hosts and showed us around their farm where they keep cows which supply organic milk to the Hofer supermarket chain. Their their breakfasts in the family home were quite good and plenty as we didn't go hungry before lunch. Unfortunately for the winter of 2017 was very warm and there wasn't much snow so there was little that we could do in the immediate area. At some point I'd like to return in the summer or fall to do experience more in the area.
