We are officially obsessed. Not sure if we’re ever going to leave. Land lady kindly fed and watered us (read: wined) for a lovely cosy Sunday. Atmosphere was as full bodied as the Malbec that accompanied us. The pub feels like a warm hug that is good for the soul.

I visited almost four years ago now, sadly no longer there. The pen and ink drawing was done later as so many people missed seeing this fabulous work of art, at the time it put Lowsonford on the map.

A lovely 16th century pub in the lovely village of Henley. Very friendly staff and very good food. Fish and chips was delicious !

Farm shop sells great cakes, sausage rolls, pies, coffees etc Lovely lady who makes you feel welcome. Plenty of places to sit outside.
