Menate is a well-known restaurant offering high end steaks including various cuts of wagyu. I wouldn't say they are exactly cheap. The prices are still eye-watering and visits to this restaurants should only be reserved for special occasions but Menate has disrupted the market for ostentatious consumption of steaks and opened up the almost mythical wagyu to the masses.The restaurant has a praying room on the 1st floor. You need to climb a flight of stairs to reach it.

Celebrated my daughterâs birthday here. Impromptu celebration which turned out great. Food was delicious, reasonably priced, service was fast and friendly. I took one star off because it was rather warm, probably because we were seated near the window. Would really help if they put a blind on the glass windows to keep out the heat and glare.Otherwise itâs a very nice place to spend a leisurely time with family or friends.

It's a decent place to dine in to savor a variety of Malaysian and Western Food. Value for money and they usually have sets of the day. I love their nasi lemak, their grilled chicken and also they have nice tuna sandwiches. In totality, a decent, value fr money to savor our breakfast, lunch or dinner :)And its been years that they are around! Thumbs up!

We were celebrating a birthday dinner. The waitress that was taking our orders was very unfriendly. I requested the wine list after she has taken our orders but she just walk off and did not return with the wine list. I had a discount voucher which I have gave to the waitress after she has taken our orders. However, when we asked for the bill at end of the dinner, there was no deduction for the discount voucher. When we highlighted to the same waitress, she argued and response rudely that we did not give her any voucher. Only after we insisted that we did then she agreed with us. This is a very bad service for a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. We have been to Senja on many occasions but I do not think we will ever go back again. For those who love natural and exquisite French food, this is the place for you. Even the soup is manually and lovingly prepared, instead of those commonly found pre-prepared, pre-cooked ingredients, where one just add water to boil. The price is affordable, and the food is simply exquisite! And don't forget to try the chocolate cake, crêpe, among others. Simply yummy!
