Visit the southernmost Mayan city : San Andres and the world heritage site of Copan Ruins in one single trip. San Andrés is a pre-Hispanic Mayan site of El Salvador, whose long occupation began around 900 BC. C. as an agricultural town in the Zapotitán valley of the department of La Libertad. This early settlement was vacated by the year 250 because of the huge eruption of the caldera of Lake Ilopango, and was again occupied in the fifth century, along with many other sites in the Zapotitán Valley. Between 600 and 900 d. C. San Andrés was the capital of a Mayan manor with supremacy over the other settlements of the Valley. Once in Copán your guide will highlight the most important moments of this city-state where its habitats develop a unique form of sculpture and carving.

We took a half day tour to El Zunzal and el Tunco from San Salvador. It was a hot day and our only day to visit the beautiful beaches. The walk on the rocky beach was tiring but thankfully inter tours had a really nice hotel with a pool and facilities that we could use, which will be exactly what you need given the beach conditions - rocky and no beds by the beach. The best part about our tour was definetly our guide, Francisco! Very genuine and professional. Would definetly reccommend, thank you Francisco and Dina ????????

Let me start with PLEASE USE EC TOURS especially book Estefany (as your guide) and Alessandro as your driver! My boyfriend and I booked a quick getaway to El Salvador and hoped to make the best of our time there. We wanted to enjoy the beautiful Salvadoran nature as well as history. I messaged EC tours to see if they had a tour that included both nature and history and they did just that while also keeping in adoradable! Estefany was amazing in informing and educating us about all the history of the country as well as making sure we got out the most out of our limited time. We started with a hike to cerro verde which was lovely even for someone as out of shape as me lol amazing views of the three volcanos, we went down la ruta de las Flores, stopped by to enjoy Delicious Salvadoran coffee and then did the termales de Santa Teresa. So much fun, adventure and education. Alessandro made sure we got to our destinations safely. Both he and Estefany were very profesional but also made us laugh and enjoy the time we were together. PleaE book this business if you want to get a fun, information filled and genuine experience of El Salvador.

From the Federation to the Coffee Republic. From military regimes to democracy. From repressions to big celebrations and presidential inaugurations. Alfredo was an amazing ambassador for the country of El Salvador. He gathered us from the airport in style and I felt completely safe our entire trip. We learned so much! History, geology, cultural practices and of course where to have the most fun! He was amazingly patient and impressively knowledgeable, and he is a fun person to be around. I recommend him to anyone wanting more out of their experience in El Salvador, as this country is full of surprises. I can't wait to return. Special highlights: Indigo experience, Ataco, dune buggies, ziplines across mountains, surfing Sunzal with friends, tour of San Salvador and soaking in the hot springs!
