The most amazing vacation!

I had such an amazing time at mizata that I extended my stay by a whole week. The staff here is so sweet and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and having fun. The food is amazing every dish I had in as finished with no crumbs left. Kevin and Daniel are always making sure every question and concern I have is addressed and are what made my experience so special. The rooms and views are spectacular as well and you are truly steps away from the beach. Erick was my surf coach and he is without a doubt the best surf coach I’ve ever had. I had so much fun surfing with him everyday and progressed so much in such a short amount of time. Roco is an awesome tour guide and I throughly enjoyed every tour I went on with him. Overall my stay was perfect and I really cannot wait to be back!

Paraiso Escondido Hotel Villas & Resort

Hidden gem, excellent food and excellent crew with Rosa. I'm already homesick to come back

Reviewed By Krista B

We picked this resort because it ticked every wish we had and the reviews are wonderful. It is the perfect hotel to relax and I honestly just didn't want to leave whilst usually we are only at the hotel for some sleep. We relaxed, watched the ocean waves, we went inside a private cave, we had excellent and fresh food which was just perfect. There was a wifi box on the ceiling of our villa so internet was good. And the service, oh gosh, just mind blowing. They surprised us with their warm hearts, made us feel at ease, we never had to worry about anything. They went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. The villas are more spacious than it appears to be on the photo, the bathroom too! Shower is excellent, bedding is good and balcony is huge with a priceless calm view over the ocean. And! They have the luxury of owning a private sand beach. Swimming pool with beautiful (i believe infinity) view over the ocean and I even saw some wildlife animals walking around and climbing into trees which were just cherries on top of the cake. I'm already homesick to this resort. Thank you a million times Rosa and your team (who were like family).

Incredible Experience at Sabas Beach Resort

Reviewed By bridgetd752

My boyfriend and I were very impressed by Sabas Beach Resort. I will say it is not a Cabo or Cancun "resort" experience but for actual travelers we were so pleased. We stayed in La Libertad for a few nights and then up to Santa Ana. This was our final spot we stayed for 3 nights. At first we did have a little bit of a hard time finding it. It's off the beaten path a bit in San Blas. It's at the very end of the road. As soon as we arrived we were checked in at the bar it was around 2pm. The owner of the resort was there with Abby. It took a few minutes we were supposed to have a room facing the road but they offered us a room facing the pool/beach. While we waited they made us Pina Coladas and we sat listening to the ocean using the great wifi to catch up with home. The room was clean. There are a few of odds and ends that need to be updated and fixed but nothing major that affected our stay or we really cared about. First night we walked the beach at sunset and watched kids play soccer. Then we had beers under the stars at the resort. Sabas is probably about 10 minutes from El Tunco. We absolutely love going there and ate away from the resort for all our meals so can't comment on the food but they do have menus. We also rented a car so we had transportation but the owner did offer if we need rides I think they have a van/bus. Abby was always at the bar so kind and greeted us with a genuine smile every day. Nobody spoke english except for the owner. I can't remember his name but we referred to him as El Jefe. He was great! He helped us with our Coivd tests because we had some issues with Whatsapp and he was friendly and accommodating the whole stay. One thing to note: we put all of our drinks "on the room tab" and truthfully we thought they would just add it to the credit card on file. We did tip Abbey in cash. Our flight was super early we had to leave at 5AM and no lights were on in the building when we were leaving. Only a security guy was available. He informed us in Spanish that we needed to pay for the bar things. It was all just written on a paper and he used a calculator to add it all together. It was accurate but we just thought it would go to the card and it took quite a bit of time to add it together. We really needed to catch our flight so we just gave him cash and we left. Hopefully it went to the right place but we should have confirmed the night before that it was settled with the bar. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. If you're looking for an all inclusive luxurious Cancun stay this is not the vibe but if you're looking for an authentic Central American EXPERIENCE then I HIGHLY recommend this resort.

My Lakeview Eco Villa

Reviewed By saharris718

First let me say the resort has a beautiful jungle vibe. The staff was very respectful and helpful. My room was beautiful. Here are the pros: beautiful eco villa loved the outdoor shower and the privacy. The stay was very affordable. They have the best ceviche and plantain chips with guacamole. The cons: The resort allows non-staying visitors purchase day passes with their children who at times tend to be very noisy. They also allowed dogs on their property which to me is a no no I wouldn’t want to step in dog mess. One thing I do notice in this country a lot of establishments bring/allow dogs and cats on their property that’s strange to me coming from the states. The pillows were very thin/cheap not comfortable at all. Wasn’t a fan of the Pina Colada nor the Strawberry Margarita ordered fried shrimp for dinner couldn’t finish it because it was very bland no seasoning. The jumbo shrimp with Asian hard noodles… the shrimp was great the noodles I wouldn’t recommend. The bbq smoked wings didn’t enjoy much. Breakfast fruit bowl was good however the waffles were mediocre I asked for bacon and got what looked like grinder scraps didn’t look nor taste edible. To sum it up I loved the villa besides the noisy kids during the day and the dogs it’s a beautiful peaceful oasis the food selection and cooking could be better with the items I had but all in all I would recommend this resort if you’re looking to try something new.

Absolute Beauty!!!

Reviewed By Kathmandu227

The 5* reviews on this place is spot-on! Although I’m not a Buddhist, what a beautiful place to practice a Zen lifestyle. The outdoor shower is so refreshing to bathe under the canopy of a blue and cloudless sky (at least while we were there). The staff is extremely kind and friendly, but, not in an intrusive way. If you need anything they are at your leisure. My daughter and I truly enjoyed our 2-night stay to reconnect after her last 2 semesters away at college. I enjoyed trying the variety of meals on offer. It was all pretty consistent and very good. Would definitely stay here again just to slow things down and contemplate. Felt like a world away from everything. -Katrina

Good quality at a reasonably price

Reviewed By Stranats

Hotel Santa Helena is situated in a quiet area. With proximity to embassies (especially the US embassy), the area is amongst the most secure you could find! The hotel itself is nice and quiet. There is a small garden. Rooms on offer are of varous sizes, from double/single use rooms to multi-bed roooms. The standard is comfortable, but not luxurious. Cleanliness is very good and I found staff service also very good. There is a small garden with a small pool and outdoor seating underneath a canopy. Breakfast is served every morning - good, but again, not luxurious. There is parking inside hotel premises. The drawback of the hotel is that there is no restaurant. One can call out for service from a number of restaurants in the vicinity, though, and meals are delivered within ten-twenty minutes. The hotel wifi is good, though when I was visiting, there were some hiccups in the system, needing the router to be reset. The reception assists with that. I would recommend Santa Helena for those who want a reasonably priced alternative in a quiet and secure area.

Not worth the price

Reviewed By Salviexplorer

It is what you see in pictures. I have the same shots. Its worth giving three stars only. You only get secured parking, cleanliness and spectacular view of the ocean . Thats it! Don't expect anything more. Their food overpriced. If you ask for OJ refill, its extra. The beach in front of the property is inaccessible. You would have to go to El Majagual Beach. Which I don't recommend or El Zonte not recommend either. The whole Surf City area is overrated. The pool service is less than mediocre The pool itself becomes boring. It s very dark after sunset and pool service it non existing . The towel service is horrible. Depending on your party needs. You get cards that need to be exchanged at front desk every time you need towels or need to be returned after use. Making inconvenient when you are with wet swimming clothing. Also a hazard in the lobby area if you are wet. Never seen this policy in Cabo, Hawaii or other resorts. In Conclusion , you are just paying for the view of the ocean. If you stay overnight. Day pass is better recommend. Forgot! The service at the restaurant was excellent. I take my hat off for the crew.
