This was a great time. Arrival was at the decided time not “Island Time”. The drive showcased the mountains. At the head of the trail is where we began. The hike to Blue Ridge summit was physically difficult, but well rewarded with views of the island. Unfortunately from the summit a cloud had descended on us so we could not see the whole island, but a short ways down we were rewarded with a great view. Make sure to wear some type of sturdy tennis shoe or better, bring a couple snacks and water. Average time up is 3 hrs. I was able to finish it in 2:20min. Speed won’t get you to the rewards, determination will.

This was a fun outing! Did not love the pushy vendors at the end of the tour, but we were generous with our shopping understanding tourism has been hit hard since 2020. My daughter loved the zip lining and wanted a longer tour!

Prior to our holiday I contacted Lattecha and asked her to make two bags with a Queen theme. She picked us up from our hotel - SATP - and took us to her studio where we were shown round her garden and saw her paintings and then we had a brief tour of Negril before she dropped us off at our hotel. Please see pictures attached including a copy of the article in the local paper recently - the Om Mama painting is ours now. A great day out with an awesome talented and nice lady. Sorry - not letting me add pictures but check out Lattecha,s website
