Leighton Buzzard Brewing Co.

I went to Leighton buzzard Brewery on Sunday 1st. They had a record sale, good selection of beers and a fabulous Indian Street food lady selling snack foods such as peas cachoori ( excuse the spelling) keema curry, cauliflower curry, chick peas, lentils and many more condiments all of which I have not tasted since visiting India. The atmosphere was relaxed and accepting of children and dogs. Well worth a visit.

Ampthill Brewhouse

Ampthill Brewhouse was saved in 2015 and now brews three very 'gluggable' ales for local pubs, clubs and consumers in Ampthill and surrounding areas. We've got a great story and even better ales so come and try them and find out more about us on a tour of our microbrewery.

Brewpoint

Brewpoint, in Fairhill in western Bedford. So much more than just a brewery, Brewpoint is a £14m investment in our future, a statement of confidence about the direction of our fifth-generation family business, and our new home. Our stylish beer garden houses a mighty pizza oven, and plenty of outdoor seating so you can make the most of the fairer months whilst keeping warm and cosy with our outdoor shelters & heater. Our pizzas are crafted from freshly-made dough and topped with our in-house tomato base. Our gorgeous artisanal ovens cook all our pizzas from fresh at a scorching 290°. We cater for everyone so we've also got gluten-free and vegan options available too. We can’t wait to welcome you.

My first time here with a friend. Service was quick. We had drinks within 5 mins and food within 15. Everything has to be bought and paid for using a QR code. Not sure what you'd do if you didn't have a smart phone? Food was lovely, Mac n cheese great. Would recommend and will return.

Wonderful 2.5 hours tour. Starting with a beer tasting with our guide, Neil, showing and explaining how to taste beer and how the different styles of beer differ, that mingled with the brewery's history and the different beers brewed on site (many more than you would think, by the way). Then touring the brewery showing the main steps of the brewing process. As the visit was on Saturday, the production was not operating. Also bear in mind, that the site does not do small filling anymore (cans and bottles), so don't expect seeing the filling operation. We ended the tour back in the brewery bar tasting more beers (those to be paid extra) and enjoying reduced price beer purchased. All in all, a very good afternoon experience that I would recommend.
