Reviewed By 846gillpWe booked this lodge as a stopover on the journey between Kampala and Kabale- my husband and I and my daughter and son in law and their one year old baby- and we were very pleasantly surprised. The gardens are pretty and the swimming pool is lovely. We were given a very friendly welcome and the staff were always helpful, especially with unloading and loading our truck with all our luggage. The bandas were pleasant and clean; the bed was large and comfortable and we were given lots of towels. We stayed there again on the way back. On both occasions the pool was perfectly clean and looked very inviting but it was the rainy season and not warm enough for a morning swim. There was some building work taking place but it didn’t intrude and the area is quiet. Overall we had a very positive experience, especially considering the modest prices. We saw our first Christmas tree on the terrace- a surprise in mid-November! I can imagine that it must be a lovely place on a sunny day to take the family for a swim.
