We stayed at the Daniel and had breakfast included. It was utterly fabulous and I can't think of anything they didn't have that I'd have liked. Apart from bacon perhaps. Fresh coffee, an orange squeezing machine, a good variety of breads, omelettes cooked to order, the usual continental hams and cheeses, smoked salmon, tomatoes and cucumber, granola, bircher muesli and delicious fresh fruit salad, plus a huge variety of teas and teapots to go with them! If you fancied it there was also sparkling wine. you could happily spend a morning here, feasting and whiling away the time in a room with great atmosphere.Dear Guest, we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your valued feedback with us! About a month before we travelled to Vienna for the weekend we looked through TA to book a restaurant for the Saturday night. My wife and I independently thought Door Number 8 looked great so we booked through the Quandoo restaurant booking website.The restaurant is off a main street and down some stairs. It has a small kitchen in the centre with tables in 2 different dining areas either side. We had a comfortable table with benches which gave us plenty of room. The starter menu consists of 6 or 7 options - my wife and friends had the lobster bisque and me the tuna ceviche. Both were so tasty and well presented. Mains are mainly steaks though there are other options too and a range of sides and sauces. After much deliberation we chose a filet, ribeye and a salt crusted chateaubriand with a range of sides. All appeared promptly after finishing our starters - the salt rust was removed with a hammer and chisel so provided some good theatre too! All the steaks were cooked to exactly as we had ordered them (why canât all restaurants do this!?) so were fantastic.Our waitress was great all night - excellent English and helpful with her descriptions of the food so overall we had a perfect evening. The food isnât cheap but well worth the prices they charge.

Another great find on this trip. The staff were really friendly. Decor great . Buffet available for salads and a wide range of items on menu including nine meat meals !! Desserts good too. Very typical Korean style with respect to atmosphere and offering. Dishes like Ramyon tasted really well (including good spiciness) while there. However, and despite having eaten veggie, the rather strong aftertaste an hour later was there. You need to be aware of that, but itâs probably a worthwhile investment. All in all, very friendly and decent offering.

Very nice environment and the staff professional. The food was tasty and also the beers. Because I was the only vegetarian in the group I choose the salmon plate. Just Wow!!! I was fascinated. The portions could be little bit bigger. But it was okey.

Ok so it's busy and it is a bit touristy, but it's worth a visit for tasting authentic delicious Austrian beer.I arrived about 6pm on a Sunday and there weren't many tables left, a waitress who couldn't be more bored in what she was doing eventually showed me to an available seat after a 5-minute wait but she obviously did not want to be there and certainly didn't care about me. Luckily I was served by a waiter who was a lot more enthusiastic and attentive. He served me pretty quickly when I was ready to order food, spoke English, and always asked if I wanted another beer when I was close to finishing the beer I had on my table.I ordered the ham hock or haunch. To be fair, it was flavourful but in parts was quite tough and a bit inedible, so it's a good thing there was enough tender meat to fill me up. The sauerkraut was nice and pretty standard.The beer here was excellent though. They only have a few varieties but I could tell they really make an effort to brew great beer. That in alone is the main reason for coming here.Would've been a perfect score if it wasn't for the grumpy waitress and the slightly overcooked ham.
