The pizza was terrible with no taste at all!! This was nothing compared to the lady that served it!! When we tried to pay not only she didnât accept credit cards (it was nowhere written of course), we saw the credit card machine and she laughed at as and make an ironic comment in Italian (bad thought since two of us speak Italian). Eat somewhere else or even in another village but not there!!

That was a very bad experience: we paid more than 70 euro for really small portions including 20 percent for serviceâregarding this charge check first page of the menu. In particular all three of us ordered same dish cinghiale in umido and all three portiins were served in same bowl, just three table spoons of dish per person...we believe there is a huge disbalabce between price and what you get when you pay 20 percent of service on top of your order.

The staff here looked after us faultlessly on our week in San Quirico d'Orcia. We had a couple of breakfast coffees but the best was certainly the aperitif. We stopped on two evenings and both times ordered a recommended house wine. Really lovely and served with prosciutto, pecorino and pane. Worth dropping into for a drink and a bite!

I stopped in to Idyllium on a cold, windy night in Pienza. What a great spot! Great drinks, and super kind service. Stylish, fun, good music, great drinks. I'll be back next time I am in Pienza!

This place is a nice place to stop and have something to eat on your way to the historic center of San Quirico d'Orcia. There is a public parking place in front. You can view it on Google Street although this video looks a few years old.

It's a local delicatessen. Very small place - we ate plates of local cheese and sausage. It was great. The people there were extremely nice and gave us explanations regarding out order. I highly recommend the place - a true and very nice taste of the area.
