Vi hade tänkt fika på Nohrbergs men det var stängt för renovering och ägarbyte. Vi frågade någon på sta'n om ett annat ställe och rekommenderades att gå hit. Julius hade vi hört om förut men tänkte inte på det nu, Vad jag visste var att det är populärt. Vi fikade och det fanns lite av varje men mer en lunchrestaurang än ett café/konditori tycker jag, Det går även att köpa matbröd här. Det är en stor lokal så vi undrar vad det kan ha varit där förut. Prisvärd fika och lunch. Stället ligger runt hörnet vid Lindex inne på en tvärgata.

The place a good little bar/resturant with a steakhouse like menu. The place also have a nice collection of beers and if you do not fancy that, there are alot of mixed drinks at fair price to choose from, I would recommend the burgers when ordering food. The food takes a while after ordered, but are worth it.
The servers are pleasant and ask any question you might have.

This is a bakery café that is famous for their Smörgåstårta. It is fantastic. Anytime we want it for some party we drive approx 70Km just to buy this one. A few times a year.
Make sure to order it so that they make it one day ahead of the day you will eat it. It needs a day to settle in.
When it comes to other cakes and cookies I wish there were a wider variety but just because their Smörgåstårta is so good I rate Mekka a 5-star place to take a fika.,

Den dag vi var där var det fullt men buffén var alltid välfylld med jätte god sushi och andra rätterna var fräscha och goda.

Traditional Swedish and Scandinavian food. We are open daily from 11 am to 10 pm monday-thursday and from 11 am to 01 pm fridays & saturdays. Sundays from 11 pm to 5 pm.

Nice food and service in an historical place. Not that crowded at all - just like the city. Decor is well suited with the history of the building. Menu and quality of the food was impeccable. Worth visiting if travelling somewhere there!
