Gananoque (/ˌɡænəˈnɒkweɪ/ GAN-ə-NOK-way) is a town in the Leeds and Grenville area of Ontario, Canada. The town had a population of 5,194 year-round residents in the Canada 2011 Census, as well as summer residents sometimes referred to as "Islanders" because of the Thousand Islands in the Saint Lawrence River, Gananoque's most important tourist attraction. The Gananoque River flows through the town and the St. Lawrence River serves as the southern boundary of the town.

Excellent winter hike, (-3, sunny) trail well marked, bit challenging and diverse landscape. Definitely will go again.

Joel Stone Heritage Park and Splash Pad

My family has a gorgeous experience at the Joel Stone Heritage Park. It was extremely pleasant to walk around the park and absorb the natural surroundings. Would certainly very highly recommend visiting same to any traveler, especially in the evening during summer.

Municipal Marina

We had a few hours to kill and walked down to this marina, sitting down in the nearby park on the benches, watching the activity on the nearby St Lawrence Seaway...it was great way to spend a lazy afternoon..we come here every year and have never been disappointed!!

This is a gorgeous, little park close to home. Beautiful sculptures and seating for the folks that visit. It’s small but lovely to walk around.
