Even compared to many Spaghetti Carbonara in Europe, Simone' s is one of the best I ever had. On top he is a lovely bit crazy person, who loves good music and is always open to a lovely chatDear Davidthank you for this nice review , i remember you because during your stay about 3-4 weeks you came many times and try out different dishes . Carbonara stayed printed and this made me happy. Thank's David for your support.p.s the restaurant is temporarily closed due to an accident i had, where i broke my left shoulder , and i am left hand.try to re open on Monday 30 September Sorry for inconvenience Simone the cook and owner

This little restaurant was an unplanned visit but an absolutely gem of a find. Open kitchen with quick service. Staff were very attentive including chef, I checked in a couple of times to make sure my meal and dining experience was to my liking. I ate pescatarian, with a asparagus/mushroom entree and a tilapia stack for the main. Flavor was exquisite, did not expect to find this flavor at this price.Accompanying salad bar we also a nice touch. Highly recommend and at this price point cannot imagine finding anything better. Thanks âEat Is Lifeâ for this fantastic dining experience! Wishing you all the best.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars.The menu is limited, which often indicates what a restaurant knows what it aims to excel in. The baba ganoush+pita+hummus+falafel+ tahini platter was wonderful. Special mention for the green chilli dip. The owner is polite and friendly, as other reviewers say.Dont expect a fine-dining experience, and you may be pleasantly surprised.thank you for your great review, we are trying hard to make the food fresh and tasty. hope to see you again.

Went with my wife to this establishment on 27 th February- booked by our marvellous hotel 99 the Heritage- arr on time at 7 pm - nobody in restaurant at this time- my wife went see if the chef who was widely mentioned in previous reviews was cooking that night- the french man in charge said he could not speak English - the chef was apparently in Laos - the stand in manager was rude - never got out of his chair had earphones in and showed no interest in us even thought the place was empty . This establishment has had many good reviews but also some very poor ones - such a shame - we left the place and will not be back. Visited twice during my stay in Chiang Mai. Went back a second time because of really enjoying the food the first time round. Some superb Mediterranean choices on the menu. Particularly enjoyed the steak. Lovely atmosphere and good, helpful staff. Spacious too so you are not crammed in. Good wine list too.
