Driving into Kings Lynn from the south, we passed the Kings Lynn Library. Very Impressive Brick Built Library. Well worth visiting, just to admire the brickwork!!!

Fantastic library ran by wonderful people, Right at the heart of the Downham community. As a library member for as long as I can remember, Downham is as good as any i have used. I've used it for IT, printing, book and DVD loans, a place to while away an hour or two on my own or to take my children to get their own books or to take part in one of their regular activities. If you just spend an hour you will see a slice of community life in the different generations that all take something from a visit,whether its information or just to spend an hour talking to a friend or joining in the groups and clubs. Nowhere else in a community offers this opportunity and it's fantastic.
